Yep, they played "in the round" at Thalia Hall, on a ~1.5ft riser type stage. The venue presents shows this way sometimes which is a cool change of pace from their usual theater presentation. Bazan has played here a couple times before and said at this show that it's his favorite venue in Chicago.
