The judge should have told her exactly what was expected…knowing she was defending herself. When you represent yourself, the judge is your attorney. Who are these attorneys and judges?

For months have listen to this song almost every single day on loop to and from work. It seems like I have been blessed with a Fresh anointing every single time I hear it. This song takes me straight to the presence of God, where it feels like I am literally being held in his arms. Thank you my heavenly father for using your servant, Mr. BeBe Winans to bless your people with this beautiful song. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

IMHO, the singer was right to speak out about the judges being immature and disrespectful! It wasn’t the time for them to be laughing, and as grown as they were they should’ve known better. Mr. Brigham should’ve called them out for being unprofessional at an audition. It wasn’t time for them to giggle. That had no place at an audition. in order for it to be made clear, the auditors/interviewers SHOULD NOT laugh under these circumstances. Laughter is inappropriate, irresponsible and unprofessional. Because of their behavior, they should NEVER be considered to advise singers or audition them. Kim Burrell is being out of sorts, and Donnie is on that same train! They are both playing a game with Christianity, and, somehow, they seem to be carrying themselves as if they still don’t need to work out their own souls’ salvation. Burrell was lying. I don’t care if she had made her mind up while she was singing. She should stay silent until she was given a space to give the singer a critique. When she said that his attention should’ve been focused on the one who was talking to him, the question was HOW? HOW could the one who was auditioning listen to what Kiera was saying when you have Donnie and Kim giving a belly laugh like that. It was sophomoric! People could have fun at these events, and I know it is not always easy to suppress a laugh. But, they need to be more mature and find a way to do so and comport themselves as respectable Christian leaders. [NOTE: Kim’s sassiness and being unapologetic when she puts her size 12 in her mouth, also, does nothing to help her brand or her image.]

Hopefully the use of the word "combative" did not cause you to miss the big picture in his story. It was used to say he was argumentative as he took a stand against offensive feedback from the judge. The auditioner had sacrificed greatly to be there and voiced his grievance on the spot in direct response to the harsh criticism. This is figuratively a way of "fighting" back.

*Seasons 1-4 were undeniably ANOINTED and they aren't available ANYWHERE... I wonder Why? 🤔😟 TP has Stake AND a billion dollar deal with BET, and it's STILL being Withheld. SMH you can hardly find Clips of the show and it first aired just 17 years ago.. Ponder THAT.* Mark 8:36 💔

I love gospel music and I deliberately make space for it in my journalism but I too would like to see it televised on a regular basis. I have pondered several show ideas and hope to one day produce something that we can keep and I will always make it available online.

So it's ok to destroy our history because someones offended? Nope, this is America and that's not how this works. We need to remember our roots. How far we've come, the lessons we've learned, and the pride to know where we are is far-far from where our forefathers started and endured. Take the pride you deserve and just be American instead of offended.

A: Not all black people in the US are descendants of slaves, in fact a smaller percentage than you'd expect holds that distinction. B: The black slave was prized above all for plantation owners; they were paid for versus having the slave labor pay their way to the Americas like white 'indentured' servants did and as such were treated decidedly better. C: The black slave owner was particularly noxious to black slaves, and was not a small portion of the slave owners in the Americas D: This is a preservation of history; that's what statues are, for better or worse. Erasing history is to eliminate the grief, suffering, and victories of those who lived it, and this does them a great disservice. Once it is all erased, who says it ever happened?

@@MotivatedVoter those who built this country were not working on fields. We were well below average prior to the industrial revolution. There was no 'country building' done on plantations, most were not profitable. The advent of agricultural development which REPLACED field workers en masse is what gave us enough food to allow expansion and.push into testicle export. Also, the black slave in America was a MINORITY of slaves int the Americas. Don't get it twisted.

@@dangerpudge1922 The history of American chattel slavery is well documented and tells a different story than the one you are sharing. The U.S. used FREE slave labor to become a world power and used slaves to prepare goods for trade Long before the Industrial Revolution.
@dangerpudge1922
@dangerpudge1922 4 ай бұрын
@@MotivatedVoter you need to read actual history; you're talking absolute nonsense and what I've said can be directly traced to the economic standing of the United States. Black slaves were purchased from Africa by Africans and Middle Easterners, and the voyages were paid for by plantation owners AND NORTHERNERS who wanted to show off their wealth. The 13th Amendment did nothing to resolve the manufactured debt of the indentured servant slaves, which also passed to their families (something that did not happen to black slaves), which meant that the contractual obligations extended generations after the 13th amendment had been enacted. The slaves were used on plantations, period, or as house staff. There was more than enough indentured servants and very little refined goods being manufactured prior to the industrial revolution; in fact until the war, England's taxes ensured that we were unable to become an economic power. After the war, we would export a few primary resources, but very, very few goods. You can wallow in your self pity all you'd like but you're dead wrong, and that's very easily proven. Educate yourself.
