Hi ya Tom. Whoa! That looks great. I was thinking while you were applying the stain with a brush, a shallow bath of stain inside an old Tupperware container, maybe would have been faster. Just dunk the piece it, let it soak for a few seconds, pull it out. Just a thought. Loving the Trump truck. Harris blew through over a billion dollars. Trump around 350 million. And a trip to McDonald’s and a ride in a garbage truck. Gotta love him. And to all you folks out there still hating. Time to jump on board and enjoy the ride. It’s gonna be great. See ya next time.

Thanks for watching, got it for free at the train show, I bought so many buildings from the one vendor he added that to the stash. Worked out prefect, saved me from rebuilding the one I built about 30 years ago that got demolished when me moved a few times

I cut my re-railers in half and put the halves at the end of layout where the drop in bridge is placed. So, if any cars derail they are then re-railed. Works well. My drop in bridge is five tracks wide with a switch in the middle on number four track. At the ends of the layout on either side of the walk through I put in screw hooks. When I drop in the bridge all tracks are energized. Also on the sides of the drop in bridge I placed metal braces which make contact with the screw hooks.

how many 1/8" sticks do you need

I found two more packages of the 1/8" sq but I'm using those as the bridge ties and the top brace. I'm using 3/16"sq for the bents. Had enough to make 9 bents and 1/8X3?16 for the stringers. I may need another pack of those so it's off to Hobby Lobby on Thursday for some more supplies
