@DestroyerMariko I've heard so many reasons for going offline, there's a lot of high expectations on large subscription youtubers, to keep their product professional and a lot of them are up all night editing then are filming the next day for the next drop plus managing merch, I guess they just burn out and need to get away. Some have partner issues and ownership of the channel needs to be sorted. Some have legal or copy write issues with content and TCs and drop out while they get it sorted. Sometimes their content disturbs them mentally, like reporting on war activity and exposing themselves to stuff that impacts them like PTSD.

Depends haha, livestreaming helps me get some stuff done, but once people start chatting, I'm distracted af again XD

I've made a lot of videos on SPD since then, if you search my channel for "SPD" and/or "Schizoid" they should come up. There might be one about that, but I'm not sure. From memory I think I emailed my parents about it, posted on Facebook, and made that first video. These days though, if the topic comes up, I'm pretty casual and just talk about it like you would with a movie you saw, I guess since I don't care what people think of me, I have no reason to hesitate like others do about mental illnesses. I've even point blank told people that I don't actually care about the conversation I'm having with them, which is always kinda funny to see their confused reactions since I've gotten so good at appearing to be sociable! XD

@@DestroyerMariko at the time of making my account, I don't think we could use underscores in the name. My name is supposed to be in snake case, as it represents a coding variable name. So it's not meant to be Nervous Neuron, because no spaces used for variable names.

Yeah but the whole reason I got these on 4K was because I couldn't find them on DVD unfortunately! Primal Fear was out of stock for ages before the 4K one came out here, and Moon Knight afaik was only released in the Steelbook edition here!! So annoying. So if companies stop releasing things on DVD, 4K will eventually catch up (unless they discontinue them as well but they'd be missing out on the collector dollars so hopefully not!)

Oh wow, KZbin's stats were suggesting it was mainly UHD nerds watching that video. You're telling me the algorithm is just randomly serving it up?? What the heck 😅 And yeah, they don't want us to own anything now that they've figured out it's more profitable to just try to milk us forever via streaming. But they keep making streaming worse _because_ of that profit motive... which is ironically pushing more people back to physical media lol. I think they do still make a bit of money out of collector editions though so they might let us keep going for a while. They can't completely force streaming, else they'll push more people back to piracy instead. Until Netflix arrived here, Australia was pretty much the capital of piracy lol. If they don't let us pay legitimately for what we actually want... 🤷‍♀️

I mean, my other option was a Sony one that has a reputation for freezing while playing. On a scale of frustration, freezing while you're in the middle of something and already invested in the story is way worse than just not starting the thing at all 😅 but yeah cross fingers.

I don't have trouble being creative. My problem is that I don't have time to myself for that long anymore. I have to fit being creative into the rest of the day's routine.

Ah I really don't watch enough stuff to justify tinkering like that lol. I used to solder guitar cables and audio things and so on, but yeah it's rare that I've ever wanted to buy something I couldn't get in a local region version.

Absolutely! I mean, I did originally watch Primal Fear on my parents' Netflix, but when I went back to it, it was gone, so now I have it for real. I've always just not trusted subscription models because I'm stingy af lol, but having them delete things makes it so much worse, and the increasing proliferation of companies making their own services and taking their content off others is detrimental to everyone.

And THAT has to be good. That has to be what new blood should have been! New blood (with a different name) had the potential to be good.
