I can confirm that the work has been completed, including the rebuilding of the level crossing. 66s pass through every few hours, and I even have a video of it. Although I haven’t uploaded the video yet, I’m happy to share it with you for personal use if needed (as long as I can send it to you directly).

Used to sit on the cutting edge near the GC Bridge trainspotting in the late 1950s. Many a happy hour spent watching trains on the GC and the West Coast Mainline! Remember seeing the Hymek locos being delivered from Beyer Peacock down the GC to the Western Region. Lovely to see it again as it was!

Hi, thanks for uploading. I've just uploaded a vlog on the Hunningham bridge on this line. I was there a few years ago, it was just a muddy track at the time but it has now been turned into an official greenway! 🙂 I took a picture of the Q.R code on the new notice board by the bridge for anyone that's interested in info about the greenway, it's in the video.

I honestly can't wait for the album to come out properly, the new songs are all unique and different which is great (Change Shapes, Shame and Are You Awake? are certainly good). Hope I do eventually get a chance to see her eventually, shame I didn't rediscover CHVRCHES last year (or the year before) since I might have gone to this.

Yes, on weekdays there are currently two arrivals and departures a day usually. It's expected to take about three more years to fill in the quarry. Yes, I was being a little sarcastic when I describe it as a hi-tech operation!

I grew up in Southam and went down the quarry with the Cuba Scouts. We found a massive ammonite that was to big to carry out. I've always wanted to model the junction and the works in n-gauge. One day it might be added to my collection.

Lovely documentary and great camera work. It will be interesting to see how it eventually looks as a nature reserve area, and whether there will be links either to the heritage of the cement works, or the Rugby to Leamington railway-line?
