Thanks for watching! Sorry for the late reply. Tbh I have had some problems with the SR605 bridge. In fact, the bridge currently on my bass is a replacement of the original bridge, which ended up breaking near one string (i.e. the part that held the ball-end of the string). This was about 2-3 years ago, and the new bridge has been fine. Otherwise I have been very happy with the SR605 bass and other Ibanez instruments I've played. Cheers!

nice sound! what amp and bass settings do u use in terms of selected pick ups and treble, bass and middle levels?

Thanks very much! The short answer: Lot of bridge pickup, turn up the ~high mids and treble a bit, and turn down the bass a bit The long answer: For the bass itself, I had it at nearly all bridge pickup, with a very small amount of neck pickup. The active EQ knobs are all flat, ~50%. The bass has a "middle frequency" switch, which I set to 600 Hz (the other option is 250 Hz) The bass is played through a Tech 21 Sansamp bass driver DI, which I used for the EQing. Luckily I wrote down all of the settings I used on the Sansamp for this video before recording, which are: blend ~ 3 o'clock treble ~ 1 o'clock presence ~ 2 o'clock drive ~ 1 o'clock mid ~ 1-2 o'clock bass ~ 10-11 o'clock Similar to the bass, the Sansamp also has frequency selector buttons, so I had the "mid shift" button pressed to 1000Hz (instead of 500Hz) and the "bass shift" frequency button pressed to 80 Hz (instead of 40 Hz). Been coming back to this video when I get depressed from life’s stress. Ben 10 may have saved the day for millions, but you have saved mine countless times. To be real with ya, the bassline is what I live for! I sadly cannot play anymore due to my early stages of arthritis (and I’m only 21 ;u; family L) but when I was able to play I could play 1/4 of the opening 😢 but my bass days are over I picked up a controller and I’m going on 55 followers strong. 55 people in my corner <3 couldn’t be more blessed! God bless you and thanks for the epic video! (Don’t tell the others that uploaded a cover of it, but yours is the best. It keeps me coming back every day)
