It looks moldy. Why is the flour green?? Well, that's not what went well. It doesn't look appetizing at all.

I would love to hear more about this "shooting table" that you use with Halumin. Honestly not having an easy surface is one of the main reasons I don't use my Halumin more often.

Thanks for the question. I’ll make a video for you on how I set it up. I’m rarely in my studio but the shooting table I use when I’m there is actually an inexpensive TV try from Amazon that I replaced the top on with a narrower piece of black PETG plastic. It works really well.

Hi there, this is awesome tool for Food Photography. Does it compatible with the Elinchrom ONE light system?
@halumin
@halumin 9 ай бұрын
Thanks so much. I have not tested it with Elinchrom however I believe those are comparable in size to the Profoto B10 and I have used it with those. They will strap to the Halumin body using the speedlight straps but they are a bit too heavy for easy handheld use. You can mount it via the straps and use it layflat or have the lights mounted on stands. You can also use it with the studio lighting adapters if you can install your own 144mm speedring on the studio light adapters. It you want to use handheld the best way it to power it with speedlights so that it’s not too heavy.

They are extremely valuable for mounting my LED Zhiyun Molus G200's to which the Halumin H18 creates incredible surrounding light on your subject and as it is constant light, you can see exactly what you're getting without test shots. Mount the lights to Halumin, put the lights on light stands and you almost instantly have infinite possibilities for controlling light. They work simply great and they work great simply!!!!!

I was planning to use my new zhiyun x100 lights with the Halumin. Have you used the g200s at full power? And have you had any issues with the heat output of those lights with the Halumin? Don’t want to melt “my precious” Halumin😅!
@dcshores49

@@edwardrobison3684 After initial assembly, I did turn the G200's up to 200w to witness the effect. I did not keep them there long but there appeared to be little or no heat problems. I tried various levels of light at different times and found that I liked one side at 50% and the other at 75% for photos of my puppy. They were on for maybe 30 minutes and I experienced no problems.

LMAO @ the title. I like the direction at the last two. Sometimes their budget cant cover scenes or installs, so the tile itself has to be the image. Whats even more difficult is when i cant use props or colored backdrops. So having interesting and beautiful lighting is sometimes the way to go. Great job! I love what Halumin did to these. 🙏🙏👍👍

Totally joking about why you would want to photograph the tile by itself. Of course you would need to do that. Just entertaining myself 😂. So glad enjoyed the video. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have anymore questions.

do you have Profoto adapters?
@halumin
@halumin Жыл бұрын
The optional studio lighting adapters that come with the Studio Set have a 144mm bowens speedring that you can replace with your own 144mm Profoto adapter. The standard H18 also accepts most speedlights including the A1, A10 and A2

Hey what happened to the kickstarter?
@halumin
@halumin 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Andy. Thanks for the comment. We canceled the kickstarter and placed the production order soon after so Halumin is in production and will launch sometime in Q1 of 2023. We have been using the time to learn more about our future users and refine the messages in the videos so we can do a better job communicating when it’s ready. You can join the Haluminati at HaluminPhoto.com to be the first in line when it goes on sale.

It looks like a great tool. And a bit on the expensive side. Also, I do not find the explanation of what it does all that clear. Actually, I dare say there is no explanation. What I gather, it produces a ring or circle of light around the object so it gets evenly lit from all sides. Perhaps some words on what it actually does might help. Also, what about using it with LED lights? Am interested to see its application for portraits using AD200s.

Thanks for the feedback. The open cylindrical lighting effect that it creates is like a miniature lighting studio that you can set around your subject in place of multiple lights and stands. It does work with LEDs, speedlights and studio strobes. We designed it to work with a wide variety of lighting and working styles. We are still learning the best way to show what it does and appreciate your thoughts.
