Excellent information , I’ve recently found a nova 900 that I’m enjoying playing with , I’ve ordered a 57 to start quilting , can’t afford a walking foot so will experiment wiht what I’ve had , but thank you

How do you determine the width of the fabric when it is flat vs after it is gathered?

I prefer to see the just sewn portion and not have to use my imagination. Or look at the opposite side. 😕

I’m glad to see Jessica Rabbitbon your episode. I took a class from her and she is great teacher. Also please show more of the Bernette line of servers . I’m thinking about purchasing the 64 or 68 and would love to see more about them.

Does anyone have a full size pattern if the Jessica bag the pattern had a small cut out but no finish cut size. Why was I charged $5.99 I can’t even start

I have occasionally forgotten to engage my dual feed and can tell after awhile that the stitching is bad. Why doesn't my 770 give me an error message to engage the dual feed? Like it does if you have the wrong stitchplate on? This is a common error noted on the Bernina user group on Facebook.

I love the touch screen and air threading on the L890. It makes sewing so much more enjoyable and convenient. With this machine, I've crafted quilts, napkins, and a cozy pillow. I'm really looking forward to trying out even more projects in the future!

Where do you find your patterns for children?

I would love to see more videos along the line you discussed - quilting exposed seams and piece with a serger and then all over quilt. This will be great for those of us who love the Q machines to all over quilt. I love to piece but I like modern or simple pieced quilt patterns to show off the long arm quilting. I’m not an embroidery machine person. I’d love to be able to appliqué easily with fusible backing. I’ve been debating upgrading to a 700 series but the L8 series has my attention to piece faster. I love to sew at full speed!

Agree, Veteran sewist and quilter for half a century, but new to serging since December 2023. I love the Bernina L890. Minimal learning curve. So easy to use. I find I seem to have ‘leapfrogged’ past all the reported frustrations plaguing users of earlier types of machines. This machine works so well and changing stitches and modes is so quick and easy even for a complete rookie. .

Ha-ha, you did skip the suffering since you have a serger with air-threading. I have a small manually threaded serger, but an air-threaded one, too-much less hassle with that air threading!

Omg. Never knew about this. No one has ever pointed out this feature when I purchased these 2 feet.
