If you want to understand God's Judgement, His Righteousness, and just how sinful we are: read the first 5 books of the Bible. And you better hold on to Jesus if you read these books...it can get scary.

Your sure the text don't use the word( law). That why it important to use a king James.

The KJV and many translations do translate the Hebrew word "torah" as law here. Other faithful options are instruction or direction. Here's a helpful excerpt from Strong's: "In a broader sense, "Torah" can refer to the entire body of Jewish religious teachings, including both written and oral traditions. It is often translated as "law" but carries a deeper connotation of divine instruction and guidance for living a life pleasing to God."

John was a apostle and had been with Jesus during the three years of His ministry here on earth. He was with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. John had also seen Jesus after He rose from the dead and had been with Him forty days prior to His ascension into Heaven. He was with Jesus the day He ascended back into Heaven but it was like John had never seen Him or been associated with Him in Revelation 1. What a message!
