I like to use mycorrhizal fungi Q4 as it really helps with any transplanting, indoors or out. A wee potting shed for christmas

Yes. I have. But I'm not sure what they're called either. The kind of waterproofs sold in most places are no good if you're out in the rain all day.

Yes. They really look like small apples, but when you cut them open, then they look way more like pears 🍐.

There needs to be some wild shrub trees, some types of wild bulbs that are OK with shallow topsoil, like bluebells & Wild daffodils, some transplanted bits of perrenials, like primroses, stitch wort, bugle etc & also wild seeds. Because the top birs are already complete & planted; a lot less will need to be added to these side bits, as a lot will be able to spread down.

@rickyroaster Apart from digging the big holes, for the ponds, all the landscaping is done by hand. This area is also very difficult access & is barely accessible by wheelbarrow.

Ours still have leaves, but only just. Different types of sorbus trees do tend to lose their leaves really early.

90% of my Scrumptious apple tree were rotten, very bad year, but have another couple of later dwarf trees and look ok

My scrumptious apple has only a few wasp eaten husks this year. I has loads usually. It's a weird year for apples. By contrast many that are usually not that great have got loads. Altogether we have a lot less than usual. I hope your later dwarf trees will bring you a decent crop.

Yes. All over the British Isles. Even Scotland & Ireland. They are very camouflaged and like to grow on mossy banks, under trees & in the forks of tree branches. Often, they spread into large clumps.
