Ah yes…Chuck. What an entertaining show. I’ve watched it right through once and now I keep returning to it, like an addiction. And like many others, I am captivated by the love story between Sarah Walker and Chuck Bartowski. These are two highly flawed individuals; Chuck by his nerdiness and lack of direction, Sarah by her own feminine side being in conflict with her warrior persona. Both are trapped in their situations and can see an escape in the other. The overall theme is of course, love. At one point Sarah is tempted by the MI6 agent, a tough and forceful man who offers the bad-boy gifts of sex and high living, and Chuck, who’s love is genuine, deep, life-long, self-sacrificing, albeit in a package with less testosterone than the British thug. She receives a call from both at the same time and chooses Chuck but is so frustrated at having to sacrifice the bad-boy, she chucks a knife through her alarm clock. Yvonne Strahovski is so superb at her acting that she is a master at showing emotion. Her subtle facial expressions can make an otherwise bland scene into one of deep pathos. I am reminded of one in which Chuck tells her they have no future together because she can never be described as “normal”, so she turns away from him towards Ellie’s door and the expression crossing her face is poignant and touching. Levy, for his part, portrays the every-guy very well, but is hampered by his character being painted with a spray can. He constantly takes a coward’s attitude, screws up and blubbers about it, and my credulity at a woman of Sarah’s beauty and poise maintaining an interest in him gets strained by his weakness. All of the other characters are there for Buy More comedy relief, or as contrasting figures to Sarah and Chuck. I understand the conundrum presented by the show, one angle being that Sarah has a tough job to do in a male oriented atmosphere of spying and espionage, while she secretly desires a domestic life where she gets to be a housewife with a golden retriever and a loving husband. The CIA cleans out the house and she gazes at it with regret, perhaps another dream rendered unattainable. Chuck exclaims over the sexiness of a woman shown running in a bikini out of the ocean surf, and Sarah gives him “the look”, turning him into a stuttering fool but also confirming her ownership of him. There are so many clues to their love in the show, and it is so artfully done in a long slow arc, that I cannot think of any other love affair so well portrayed anywhere else on television. The casting of the two main actors was a happy coincidence that panned out perfectly. I agree with the general sentiment that that love affair deserves a more thorough treatment, than was shown in the final episode. I look forward to seeing it.

I love marinet, ladybug, ariden, and chat noir. They are complex characters and litterly their dynamics with each other are the best. And u can rlly sense that they are the same person, but they are slightly different in their own ways. Adiren's personality shines more as chat noir cuz he's free. Marinets does too as ladybug. Their bond is THE CUTES PBEST PERFECT. They admire and care for each other. They truly are one of a halve. You cant have ladybug without catnour rlly.

My guess for the next story line. Buck will learn to live alone and then he will see that he's not alone at all and already has Eddie. While Eddie will learn to seek out joy and he will find that Buck is his joy.
