It was a 5 days trip. And it cost around 1600€ all included (accommodation, fishing licence, guiding and travelling). And yes of course it is not for everybody but some people pay a lot more to go fishing salmon and sometimes just caught one in the entire week… one in my hands but 5 takes in the 5 fishing days so that’s not so bad and that’s fishing 🤷♂️ you can’t know what will happen when you go on a fishing trip, you are dependant of weather, water levels, fish etc… But yes you are right this not a 10 fish trip 😅

And if you want to be sure to catch 5 to 10 fish like this in the week it is possible 🤗 you pay 10000€ and go to Mongolia 😅

There are several places, like Kolpa, Mid Sava and Ljubljanica, where you can catch 2-3 huchos per day, paying 15-30-50 euro))))) And without guiding, which is fully unnecessar))))) I am easily parking any hucho by myself)))))) Regarding tours to Mongolia. Usually it costs 1500-2000$, not 10000$)))))))))

@@patrickdandeleux7755merci 🙏 un peu moins mais oui en général ils se laissent porter par le courant, ce ne sont finalement pas de gros combattants mais rien que le poids dans le courant à 45-50m3 de débit on est obligé de suivre un peu 😅 le combat a dû durer 5-10 minutes je pense mais on ne se rend pas trop compte du temps finalement quand on est dans l’action 😅

Soie de 12 c’est jamais vraiment souple 😅 mais franchement j’ai pêché 2 jours avec et j’ai pas senti une trop grande différence avec sa sœur en soie de 10 dont je me suis servi les 3 premiers jours 🤗 pour une #12 c’est plutôt pas mal et pas trop « raide » à lancer 😊

Oui c’est clair que c’est une jolie rivière 🥰 non c’est une action progressive on prend autant de plaisir sur un poisson de 40 qu’un poisson de 70. C’est une soie de 6 mais la soie de 5 de la même gamme est celle que j’utilise toute l’année sur les truites farios et je m’éclate autant sur des petits poissons que sur des gros. La réserve de puissance est plutôt sympa justement. Je suis monté jusqu’à 66cm sur la soie de 5 et aucun problème. La soie de 6 truite de mer de 73 cette année et pareil aucun problème 😊

@@FrenchFlyfishing-FG ça c est top car certaines actions sont vraiment raides avec des courbures de Cannes sur à peine 40 cm après le scion et je trouve ça dommage . En plus elle est light apparement et ça aussi ça doit être un vrai plaisir Et en numéro 6 elle doit aussi très bien aller sur les grosses perches .

Bonjour Patrick 😊 ahah c’est sûr que ce n’est pas pareil mais bon je pêche avec du matériel plus light donc les sensations sont quand même tout aussi intéressantes 🤗 je les pêche principalement en nymphe mais aussi très souvent au streamer en pêchant les postes sous les tas de branche ou autre.

Hi! what a great video and beautiful huge healty fish! I also flyfish in slovenia or Friuli in rivers like Natisone, Isonzo, idriĉa....Beautiful places and healty waters... I must say that you handled a very complicated situation like a true professional. It's not easy to keep the line tight at those distances, and the fish was in super good health, so it must have been quite a fight.. Can I ask what weight you were using? Given the heel on the barrel, maybe a 7? or an 8? Usually in Slovenia for marmorata I use the Orvis Helios 3D weight 6/7... Because it allows me to bring out really large streamer fish, but also quite delicate poses for grayling.... So I was wondering what weight you used, because it seems bigger than a 6 to me.... Thanks, and... GOOD JOB.. KEEP ON FLYING

Hi ! Thank you very much ! Ahah thank you, yes it was a quite hard fight 😅 for hucho I always fish with a 10 or 12 weight because you can only fish for them in winter. The rules are very clear and stricts on it. You pay for a hucho licence for a day and you have to fish with streamers up than 15 cm. So, 12 weight is the best like that, with a 20kg fish like this one you can have more chances to land it 🤗 Thanks again to you for all those kind words 😊 tight line
