@@solxce I think it was for the better they didn’t appear at all. Seing Yusei, Yugi, Yuma and Jaden in the show would be really cool. The problem would be how they would steal the attention from the actual main characters. Of course, making the returning characters deserved something better.

@@thegeekssecondchannel8437 I suppose but there was a really great fanfic I read where they all helped the mc of yugioh arc v(didn’t watch it so idk the guy name) but anyway they helped save the mc counterparts or whatever and it was really good.

@@nightshed3693 i know but the concept is the same because it is Dual Academia just like in GX and that is what ruins it for me, because the story is all over the place, and all i was saying is, that i miss the OG series and GX because they weren't so "out there" with their ideas, 5d's throws that out the window and so does every other series, it just goes crazy with the time crazines. I think simple is better when it comes to Yugioh, that is why the old series are more loved by the fans then are the later Yugioh series.

im not sure if this is true or not but i think arc v is set in an alternate universe where the main protagonist never existed or something which is why jaden, yusei and yuma don't appear in this show

There’s a theory that the Protagonists of the main series were fused with Zarc when his soul was split and each sent to a different dimension. If it’s true Jaden’s soul would be fused with Yuri.

As a the new King of games after Yugi, he just enjoying his new adventure. Cuz if Jaden come to arc v universe, he will destroy them especially stupid monster like Zarc

alr then: Yugioh Zexal introduces Xyz summoning, which is similar to Synchro summoning, when you have the material requirements on the field (most of the time monsters of the same level) you can Xyz summon a Xyz monster from the extra deck, the materials go underneath the Xyz card as a result, and to use the Xyz monster special abilities, you send some of the materials under the card to the graveyard. In the anime, the materials would enter something called the "Overlay network" in order to awaken the Xyz monsters. Xyz monsters don't have a level, but instead they have ranks, like multiple level 4 monsters can be used to Xyz summon a rank 4 monster. Now what's happening: In an alternative universe, one seperated from Yugi, Jaden and Yusei. There was once a duelist name Z-arc, (read as Zarc), he was an entertainer, and he had four ace monsters, four dragons, one effect monster, one fusion monster, one synchro monster, and one Xyz monster. Z-arc sought out to entertain his fans, however they kept demanding more. Z-arc kept pushing and pushing, until he was driven insane, and became a public threat and a psychopath. He found a way to merge himself with his four ace monsters, becoming a dragon of almost infinite power. The dragon name was, Supreme King Z-arc. He was on the verge of destroying the world, until a brave duelist used 4 special cards to defeat him, the result from the battle caused Z-arc, the brave duelist, and the world to split into 4. Since Supreme King Z-arc was a merged form of fusion, effect, synchro, and xyz monsters, the world got split into 4 dimensions. The fusion dimension, the synchro dimension, the xyz dimension, and the standard dimension. Each dimension understood only their own summoning method, being unaware of the others, (such as the Standard dimension doesn't know anything about Fusion summoning). Z-arc himself was also split into four different people, who were each reborn in each of the dimensions. The standard dimension housed Yuya, the fusion dimension housed Yuri, the Synchro dimension housed Yugo, and the Xyz dimension housed Yuto, these four people were each a quarter of Z-arc, but they had no memory of ever being Z-arc. Each of the four people also got one of Z-arc's original ace monsters, such as how the one in the fusion dimension had Z-arc's fusion ace monster. The brave duelist was also split and reborn into four people, and they each played a special role in each of the Z-arc people's childhood. A man known as the Professor was in the Standard dimension, when he discovered the other four dimensions, and their summoning techniques, he taught his original dimension these summoning techniques, whilst going to the Fusion Dimension and recruiting soldier to duel people across the Synchro and Xyz dimension, capturing them, or turning them into cards.
