You’re doing well at Orovile this year, nice job. Just some tips for that lake that we encountered from many years there. Late in the year it’s hard catching Salmon more than 100’, 90-100’ is good later in the day, 40-70’ early in the day. And please measure the fish, we have no idea what size they are but the last salmon looked very nice, usually the 24” means close to 6lbs.

I fish at Shaver Lake all the time and once in awhile, trolling for trout or Kokanee, we'll catch a small catfish. You'd never expect that. :)

I am in between buying a DeWalt 60v chain saw or Atlas. I have a couple of FlexVolt batteries so the final cost is close after you fully kit out Atlas. . I really like being able to just do an over the counter exchange at Harbor Freight if anything goes south. How reliable do you feel the 80v Chainsaw is? Any complaints about leaking Oil?

Thanks...the history buff in me always wanted to know where it was. It was only 200 ft tall...and the new dam is 645. So I'm assuming it's 300 or so feet on either side of the dam?

@@ibgrizz Neat! I'm a waverunner person...my brother is the fisherman. We see a lot of fish jumping, when go down the long arm and go past the 5mph no wake zone. Can often see 5 or 6 over the course of 20 minutes jumping out of the water for bugs.

Nobody wants to sell quality in store anymore because you won't be back for a while. Home Depot is the same way. Want the good stuff? You'll have to think ahead and order it. On a side note, I didn't realize how big your boat is. O knew it was like a flat bed truck but it's really the size of a truck too! Haha
