I appreciate all you share with us, Warren! It helps us to be better anglers if we learn something new. I have noticed you are making and using a plastic disk, similar to the Wiggle Disk of which I use. Do you use a dodger in conjunction with the disk? The Wiggle Disk adds a lot of action alone.

Next time I hit the lake I’ll bring oil based corn. I’ve always ran water based corns. I dry my corn out a bit with salt then I put the water based tuna in the bag. My thought is it will soak up the tuna juices and last a few minutes more. Good topic. Very interested to hear more hands on experiences from the community.

I seem to have similar catch rates on fire corn straight outta the jar vs. home made. It’s not as cheap but I just keep a jar in one of my lure boxes, no refrigerator and it’s a good back up to whatever I’ve mixed up for the trip. Need to try some orange gyro cure
