Think a lot more metal needed to extend those transitions?, spread the load and forces over much bigger area. Point loads to be avoided if possible.

Very well done simple and functional. Do you think you will have to put loops in it for the exhaust to pass threw or will It exit the front due to turbos?
@JMSAUTO
@JMSAUTO Ай бұрын
@@KentuckyTheMiniTruckState it will probably exit in the front. If it is too obnoxious I will change some stuff up. I may just do some pie cuts in the exhaust to get it where I need it.
@KentuckyTheMiniTruckState

@JMSAUTO could always get some 3 1/2" tube and make some exhaust holes in the crossmember of you had too. Either way awesome work.

@ okay well I’ve been fighting my driveshaft for the longest the driveshaft shop made my driveshaft brand new cause I swapped to a 4l80e transmission in my 5.3 Silverado and they welded my straps to close the gap so I’m going to try this ujoint with new straps and let everyone know if it works

Love the vids bro. Wanted to ask why you welded the box tubing into the bottom of the existing frame. Would it have been easier to just cut out the frame rails totally and make new ones with the box tubing?
@JMSAUTO

@@CheeHooGarage Thanks! In my opinion it is easier to keep the stock frame rails on the bottom. It adds strength and will also give me something to drag on. In the future I may do “firewall back” build on the mini.
