Hahaha I love that, but I feel like I’m such a messy planner 😂 without designing these layouts, my planner is kind of chaos haha. I’m happy to share in the end what some used ones look like, but they’re not nearly as aesthetic as the pre-pen ones. I’m not a productivity guru but I’m confident in my stickers and their ability to beautify any planner, but if the people want my finished planning pages, I’m happy to share those too! ☺️

That’s fair!!! I don’t usually have too many appointments, and last month each of my weeks looked almost exactly the same. The only thing that changed was my nephew and nieces sports schedule (but all their games are in an app so I didn’t need to track it). I tried to use the Motion app at the beginning and then just realized it wasn’t actually helping me. Every now and again I don’t need to rely on my planner as heavily, but I’m back to using it again this month and I’m happy 😃 definitely my comfort zone!!

I haven't tried motion, but I realized after using Google calendar for a while, that I missed the good old paper planners that we used to have. So I tried a digital pdf planner and it really has the best of both worlds!

@iNanieke YESSSSSS! That’s exactly how I feel and why I’m so drawn to it! Actually I wanted to try Motion specifically for the months that get extra busy and my time management skills fall flat. Since it uses AI to schedule tasks, I thought it would help me, so I signed up for a trial. Unfortunately though I forgot to cancel in time and got charged for an entire year! 😩 so I figured if I have it, I might as well try to take advantage of it sometimes. But I just end up missing my digital planner and my sticker sets! There’s just something special about still being able to hand write things and keep it pretty with stickers! Definitely with you on that one! 🥰

It’s all on the iPad! There’s a desktop version but I’ve never used it, and I love how seamless drawing and creating on the iPad is. (Also one of my biggest frustrations with Adobe Illustrator is how clunky the iPad version feels.) I am a huge fan of Affinity Designer 2 for the iPad! 😊

Oh 💯! Creativity is one of the most human things about us, and one of the most enjoyable things about being human. I refuse to give that up to AI! It’s a tool, sure. But we can’t let it replace everyone in a creative field. I’ve struggled to fully part with Adobe just yet because I use so many of its programs. But I’m considering venturing into the other Affinity programs soon to see if maybe I’ll just swap them all out! I definitely use Designer more than Illustrator anyway! 🤞🏻 and yes, let’s hope Canva doesn’t ruin it! 💕thanks for commenting!

@@tarable_art I hear you. I have already seen a decline in my workload due to Canva and Ai. Due to that I had to part with Adobe after 20 years of using it. It's not been easy and I will surely miss it but I can't justify the cost if work is not coming in as usual. So many of the Ai features are just not up to par and as I mainly do packaging design it's just earlier to stay away. I also have Procreate and started playing around in it more. Hoping to add some of my brush collection to Affinity soon as well. Wishing you luck with the new course. I take my hat of to you. I can't even manage to make a video for YT 😂

I don’t think it should affect anything on the Canva side of things. It may promote Affinity Designer to its users who want graduate from Canva’s beginner friendly design style to a more complex program. Canva didn’t have an option like that before, but now it will. I imagine Canva will stay the same!

I’m really excited, and of course we’d love to have you join us. 💗 I’ve had quite a few people mention they can’t draw either, but there’s more to sticker making than being able to draw! To be honest, I never thought I could draw either. I mean, why do you think my channel is called Tarable Art? Hahaha 😂 Confidence comes with practice, so I always encourage everyone to not let that belief stand in your way! Plus there are so many ways to create beautiful stickers even without drawing! I’m thinking about adding in some bonus workshop options or lives or something for groups who want to learn the basics of drawing and just practice drawing together… or something like that. Will likely do it as a free opt-in for this beta launch to test it out and see if there’s enough interest!
