Thanks for the great video . For a short time I tryed synthetic oil in one of my bikes . It ran loud a rattlie and leaks developed all over especially around the bolts and studs . So I went back to the diesel conventional oils and the troubles went away .

I am working on a GL1500A seat right now and let me tell ya, It's a Nightmare. These reproduction covers are not all alike, these I have here are off a little here and there and in between the here ad there It;s way off. This is a 150.00 seat cover and I waited to long to return it. My seat is is Stock , the old seat cover will go in about 20 seconds and fits like a glove, this new seat cover, OMG, it has 2" of EXTRA air space in the driver back rest, the rear seat has a section that is 1 Longer and AN Extra section that should not even be there at all bridging the top of the driver seat cushion to the Rear Passenger seat. I can pull up two inches of Vinyl and fold it under. I am so Mad! i'll bet that the cheapo ones for 45 dollars fit better. This is unreal/ HONDA GL1500 GOLD WING ASPENCADE INTERSTATE SEAT COVER BLACK [HOVSA/HOVOA] <-- this is the title in ebay, This is the link of what NOT TO BUY for your 1500. www.ebay.com/itm/362219927513 The only way I can see this eat cover fitting is by cutting it up and taking out the parts that it does not need PRECISELY and sewing it back together and with your fingers crossed. Your seat looks amazing. I got the 20 gauge pneumatic and the 1/4 inch upholstery Crown staples for mine. still have not got that far yet though.

I couldn't see if you replaced the crush washers that secure the water pump into the front cover. If you didn't it can leak oil into the coolant. They are special aluminum washers.

We were excited when Randy agreed to take the first stint in our car. We're 4 rookies with no track experience and were all a bit nervous about starting the race in the rain with over 100 other cars, and we thought Randy could help keep our car safe in the early race mayhem. He did just that for the first 30 laps and was about to come in to let our first driver take over, then bad luck intervened. Randy's a class act though and went out of his way to try to help us after the wreck. We're determined to get back on track, hopefully in time for Carolina Motorsports Park in April if possible. If anyone reading this might be willing to help us get back on track, we have a GoFundMe page titled "Randy Pobst Wrecked Our Car". A portion of all donations will go to the Lemons of Love charity supporting cancer patients.

Apple Cider Vinegar. Works great. The hard part is cleaning it up afterwards. My tank wasn't as bad as yours, no actual rust "blisters." Just some crumbs and what looked like fine sand lying on the bottom. The fuel level sender was rusty as was the filler neck, I suspect because these two areas spent most of their tie out of the gas. So, I elected to treat it in the frame, and not go through the hassle of removing the tank. I drained the fuel out and let it dry, and used a heat gun set to the coolest setting to circulate warm area and make sure it was dry. Then, I filled it with 5 gallons of vinegar, cheaper by the gallon at COSTCO or a restaurant supply store. Reinstalled the level sensor, gasket and ring, and felled it up to the filler neck and fastened the cap. Let sit for 5 days. Drained it all out and used a fuel transfer pump & hose to suck out the very bottom. As it was draining I used a small toilet brush to scrub as much as the interior I could. I had to change the filter on the suction pump twice as it clogged up with spooge. Let it dry. Dropped a gallon of lawn mower gas in, suctioned that out one last time, I filled tank with clean fuel plus a half bottle of Techron. Rest of bike is still under construction so I'll let you know how it came out.

Thanks for sharing the video, Tomas. I real heartbreaker for me. The Ghostbusters team allowed me to start their Subaru Outback, and it was perfect for the conditions: Yokohama Advan street tires, which had great grip and no hydroplaning, extremely soft stock suspension, perfect for the slippery track, and all-wheel drive. The stint had gone very, very well. We got out a lap or so after the green flag, and we came from 79th to 12th in little over an hour and a half, and at least half of that was under yellow. Great fun until the poor Crown Vic lost i on straight, right at Turn 8 hilltop, probably hydroplaning. The rain came and went, obviously pretty heavy here. My windshield was murky a lot like the camera car is here, too. But with the hill and even the camera car hiding the C Vic from my view, it was just suddenly spinning into me as I crested. It was a hard hit. Neither he nor I were injured. It was his and team's first race. Such a crash is very very rare for me, but racing is a risky sport, especially so in the wet. So sad that we tangled and the Ghostbusters never got a chance to try their fine machine. The "I Got Screwed" Award was well-deserved, and LeMons Chiefs Eric and Kim Harmon were very kind about telling the sad story of bad racing luck, and presenting the award to this classy team. I surely hope they can make it out to the next 24 Hours of LeMons event - maybe Barber Mtr Park, Feb. or so.
