We have Bachmann M1 installed on 3 of our 7 Aluminium Rolling mills here in South Africa. we are busy upgrading the other 4 using Bachmann and will be our standard for the future. It is so powerful, so easy to work with. we can monitor on-line, make changes and download so easily, quickly and confidently. Siemen S7-416 and ABB DCS cannot stand a chance against M1-220. I also like the 3 ethernet ports, and the free software. Siemens will be in trouble in a next 10 years bec of their heavy costs to develop making licencing cost a question. I am so glad eventually Siemens and ABB have a reasonable challenge..

May I ask how mx213 and dio232 are connected in practical applications? Can the 48 pin socket on their back be directly connected? thanks
