I used to be a hatwriter at Disneyland. My hat writing was just as good as what you video shows, but I could have done it in 30 seconds from the time they gave me the hat. The only things I like about this machine is the different fonts available and how quiet they are. But I can imagine it costs a lot more to do. Back when I started Hat Writing at the park (87') the Mouse Ears only cost $3.25, with a name embroidered for free! ;-)

It's so sad people my age (20's) can't sew and embroider anymore. There's nothing like being satisfied with a beautifully done embroidered item. I can embroider words in beautiful backstitch and stemstitch and nobody else my age can. Sewing is a lost art =[

how can i use this with C++?
@ZenMondo9 жыл бұрын
Grim Reaper If you got a hold of my HCML Language Specification, you could write an HCML interpreter in c++. However within the virtual world of second life, all scripting is done in a language known as LSL. We have mono, and there were plans to be able to script in c# in Second Life, but during downsizing, the let go Babbage Linden and the mono project was only half-implemented.

ZenMondo I host a star wars galaxies emulator swgnightwing.org this would be nice for in game jedis but we use lua code C++
@ZenMondo9 жыл бұрын
Grim Reaper In second life the holocron uses what is called a notecard asset as the primary datastore as well as programmatic behavior to launch a lesson based on keywords picked out from natural language. To use it in a SWG environment you would need it to be able to listen to local chat as well as read files -- either on the server as an asset or perhaps formatted text files on the hard drive of the person running the client. If it is possible, I would be happy to port over my holocron system to lua/c++ but I don't know much about the SWG emulator back end.

Thanks for that. Easier to sing along with bouncing death star than plain lyrics. I can just imagine the singer's face when she got the sheet music in 1975 "You want me to sing THAT? Really...? WTF"
