The ornate metal handrails @0:28 were fabricated by my late friend and colleague Colin Telfer, we fitted them together many moons ago. RIP Col, miss you man.

I went to visit there, had a really delicious scone and jam, enjoyed looking about and the staff were very interesting and provided lots of information about the history I'd the place, I was particularly interested learning about Queen Victoria and how the place was decorated for visit. It was also fantastic to go up to the keep with amazing views. The gardens are also fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful tour. I visited today for the first time. What a stunning garden. I am very curious about the wooden structures, the pergola, seats, acorns etc. Is there any further information about the story of the garden?

tearing up with this much visual beauty to the senses . Every area ripe with colour . Each area a special dose of independence. I’ll rewatch this every morning with my coffee and then dream it into the next existence . This is like nothing I’ve ever imagined could be true . 😊 I’m truly in awe. This man is wonderful to listen to and he shows his love for horticulture and the art in nature . Cheers 🥂

Thank you for explaining how the Dukes of Norfolk came to be buried there. I think you have to be interested in learning about history when you visit these wonderful castles etc. I have a passion for anything Tudor and Stuart related. Guides provide such a wealth of knowledge that I don't understand how someone can walk in and stay for two seconds.

Magnificent designs. The cloud hedges are sublime. I'm trying to get my head around planting 80,000 bulbs but the effect is pure bliss. This is one of the most inspiring gardens I've seen. Thank you for your generosity in sharing it with us.

This comment is 3 years late but I appreciate your views on gardening The gardens are magnificent and I hope you will continue to share your wisdom and skill and viewpoint. The opportunity to peer into your world and see how things are done in an established English garden is a privilege for me. Thank you Martin.
