This is an older video , At this time we do not sell our products to DIY people . We only sell to professional techs who know how to apply professional finishes. We simply do not have the time or manpower to explain how to use the professional Products or tell them they need if they do not know what they are doing. Professional repair is an art and skill not for the DIY. You would be much better off having a professional tech fix your damage . Contact any car dealership and ask them if they have a repair tech they use Thanks for your interest .

I color match Escalade interior from 99-06 to very dark pewter so that it will fit most Silverados or Sierras and it’s been a good little side hustle for me, but I’ve been wanting to change dye and the supplier for two main reasons 1. Color Hue was never consistent Making the dye Appear different each time I bought a gallon 2.Dye doesn’t fully bond with leather so once there was a tear it just spread from there and trying to find an adhesive promoter that isn’t expensive or that actually works is a little difficult. Right now, I currently have a few products in the cart at the website and I was wondering What do you recommend as a adhesion promoter for plastic and leather?
@viperproducts56872 ай бұрын
Our products are very high performance and have excellent adhesion. For extreme adhesion we have a primer tat is called grip base. This is mostly used in high wear areas like a bolster or steering wheels. Our products use a non toxic crosslinker to dramatically increase adhesion and chemical resistance. There will be no pealing problems as long as the leather is prepped properly. As far as cost goes you get what you pay for inexpensive means its been cut and you will probably have issues .Unfortunately everything is expensive in the current environment. We do not build our products based on cost we build them to work. Thanks Tom

Why would i use alcohol on my car leather seat tho?? I think the aerosol can paint is cool
@viperproducts56873 ай бұрын
Many cleaners and sanitizers contain alcohol that is why most of the products sold commercially are just a quick fix and do not last .Aerosol Spray paint will ruin a leather seat . Aerosol o or solvent base spray paint will make the seat hard and will crack and peel .Real professional techs have to fix these hack repairs . Our products are not for DIY these are professional products for professional techs.

Did you clear coat any of the products or add cross linker to any of the products
@viperproducts56874 ай бұрын
In this Video none of the finishes were top coated with clear however if we were to topcoat our product with our duracryl topcoat which we do normally it would even further increase the durability . We did use our non -toxic crosslinker and the very toxic crosslinkers from color lock and geist .The demo is an apples to apples comparison . Which shows how our exclusive hybrid technology is a much better high performance product the a standard grade DIY product like color lock or geist . If you use those products do the test yourself and you will see even crosslinked or top coated the results are the same , They know it and we know it . That is why you will never see durability test shown for those products. Viper is the only high performance product designed for extreme chemical resistance and factory look and feel for use by professional repair techs.

How much time did you allow for the SEM and the Color bond to cure before doing this test?
@viperproducts56876 ай бұрын
They were all applied and dried for the same amount of time 24 hours before the test . Spray paint is spray paint there is no crosslinker once its dry that's all you get it can dry for 3 months and you will get the same results not to mention it will crack and peel over time. Our professionals have to redo these rattle can jobs all the time .It just makes a mess and only looks ok for a short time its a quick fix. No durability. Real pros do not use rattle cans. So I have a Color Muse 2 (is that better than the Color Muse SE?) and I've been color-matching leather seats in my customers' cars and going to Sherwin-Williams with the color codes and getting a color-matched quart of Superpaint for all my leather repairs. So far it seems to work fine, but was wondering if I could increase the durability of the finish by putting your Duracryl on top. Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
@Avi8tor8578 ай бұрын
Do you have a dealer network or similar? Would be interested in getting a panel matched and material to paint it, but I don't have a need for the entire system. None of the SEM pre caned colors match the color so been looking for something more custom.
@viperproducts56878 ай бұрын
We are the manufacturer of the products . We offer custom color matching for a fee . If you send in a sample of the color we can match it to your sample and provide a premium coating designed for the item your trying to restore. We are not a mass market generic type of product like SEM . Everything we do is custom .
