Greetings from Nov '23. It appears that Polk hasn't bested those speakers and their legend lives on. I have a pair of B&W CM8's, which I like a lot but would welcome an upgrade if those Polk's are better.

This projector gets the job done pretty well. kzbin.infoUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

I am a Polk Supporter all the way. Have owned Polk since 1986. Started with DB6900 car, own some RT2000, RT55, RT5000 set, FX500, FX1000, CS400, PSW1200, JL Audio Fhatoms13.5 and I am negotiating two pairs of SRT right

How are they still working out- or did you upgrade? Do you have to crank them to get good sound- you said you need 200W per channel. Do they sound good low volume. I never push past 70dB due to an ear issue.

that light on a shotgun with a good spread pattern is like a lazer of death. The right distance and just that one square on you im a foot wide box would be so neat

Wow !! Nice !! I have been listening my b&w cm9 nt other b&w floor speakers for quite a long time using rotel preamp & ANTHEM MCA5 but I recently bought mint condition pair polk audio lsim 707 and they are very heavy but beautiful . Love the sound quality and tighter bass . Maybe later I will go to emotiva system .

My Polk's are old school and built in the USA. Two RT500i's CS300i and FX500i bipole, dipole surrounds. They BOOM! I was gonna upgrade and my friend who is a Polk dealer for 40 years said to keep what I have. Said they are just not made well now in China. Cheaper parts. I'm more than pleased with what I own.

Hope these Polks can push it a louder than your very weak audio of the narration track in the video clip here.

Wow... So much bass!! That's impressive! How are you going to incorporate your subwoofer if it's already so much bass??? Do you recommend not running subwoofer at all when listening to music? If you used subwoofer for music, is it gonna be way too much bass????

Not sure if you still check on commy from your video but this video you made was one of the reasons I upgraded to the 707's, 706c and the LSIM surrounds from the rti12's, Csi5 and fxia6's. I'm so happy I did. They are so much more musical and I'm currently running them on a Marantz AVR, soon to add an Emotiva DR3 reference 3 channel amp for the front stage. I know now that I have the last speaker I'll ever need.

Why do people think they can tell how a speaker sounds when listening to another source other than the speakers being played???
