It was a perfect race by Steve cram ,up until the last 200 m just ran out of steam.1986 cram would of pulled away. This race was the end of seb , Steve ovett, cram . championship winning medals of the 1980s. And Peter Elliott few years winning medals

I liked this much better than Seoul. Flojo just ate up the curve. So did Alice. And that second leg..and Pam Marshall so smooth!! Florence looks much more feminine and beautiful than 88....

Honestly From 87-88 going back… if you really watch, Flo Jo literally was transitioning and it should not have been a surprise about her following year. That 3rd leg was insane

I know! Flo was already fast before the 1988 Olympics! They claim her success was overnight. Notice they want us to believe that EVERYBODY in the world but poor Florence, supposedly fooled all of the smart doctors in the world throughout all the years of testing.

It's somewhat ironic that Kazanov caught a flyer here to deprive McKoy of the silver, and 2 years later McKoy caught a flyer to deprive Colin Jackson of the gold.

a much better leg here for FloJo vs in 88 in the games. The 88 4X100m was more exciting than this one. Alice Brown leading off as usual with Ashford anchoring. Heart pounding race.

he's half japanese he's 5'7 and way back in the day, washington, in highschool jumped 7'2. its an incredible difference between the olympians today who are already as tall as the bar, than what he did to proportiantely get your body way higher in the air than you can just standing tall. This is a mental hurdle that is hard to overcome- you need bounce, balls, and skills to feel like getting your body feet higher from a run n jump on the earth's gravity. DVDASA - magic people
