Hi. REALLY interesting. questions: 1-do you build&sell them? 2-resilient to weather (permanent outdoor installation) 3- could you get more into details about materials&assembly? Tnx!

Responses such as that are making me rethink my decision to get into Amateur Radio at 67 years old; something I always wanted to do after building a Knight Kit Star Roamer when I was 12 years old. However, his response did remind me of hearing truckers on CB's, somewhere around Resume Speed, Arkansas.

I was quite active in the 80s - just coming back to the hobby after a long break. I hear the constant use of the 'QSL' code on the airwaves. I never remember the use of this Q-Code so often other than requests for cards being sent to acknowledge a conversation. It appears quite weird and unnecessary to me, but maybe I'll get used to it nowadays.
