Yeah what the hell who is gaming AAA games at 5K resolution native on Macs? Cut the resolution to 1440p and it lines up perfectly with the monitor and looks still great. And you get a performance boost to 60fps.

nah it runs like ass on every apple silicon mac atm. But they will bring a mac native port so looking forward to that

unplayable? its running at 5k resolution at the HIGH graphics preset. It is 100% playable at a reasonable resolution LOL

@@whasiannate there's also a 20% hit with crossover(based on a video by Andrew Tsai), once GGG release the native at the same settings he should be able to reach 30fps in these areas. Still unplayable once you get to act 2-3. And he's has it scaled down to 2560x1440 so not really 5k. I have the same M4, I can average 40-50 fps if I set everything to either medium or low with scaling 2560x1080 NIS. In dense fights or towns with a lot of other players it can drop to the mid 20s. Somewhat playable but it looks terrible(NIS and FSR just makes it too blurry on the big screen) compared to my Windows machine with a 4070 Super. It somehow looks great with FSR on my Steamdeck though.

I have MBP M3 I can average 40-50 fps with 2.5k widescreen and use FSR quality, all settings to high, except shadow to low. It is 100% playable.

What did you expect from a lowend gpu in this mac mini?

He plays in 5120x2880 and this is why he has such low fps. i think 2k ( 2560x1440) would have around 45-60fps
