Undercooked, pale, greasefest of a pizza. Looked just like a standard frozen pizza from a supermarket. No crisp or crunch, zero charring, zero character to it. Looked proper uncomfortable when asked for a score at the end, because he knew it was nowhere near others that he's tried.

No disrespect Pal but that pizza looked undercooked. No charring underneath and the crust looked under done. And it looked really wet. Fair play to them rebranding and coming back from the robbery but if you were to score that I’d dare say a 6.5 would be generous. Keep up the great work tho FRC

I'm originally from South of England- I've been to friar tucks Newry ( warrenpoint ) many times . The chicken burgers are amazing - the coleslaw is a version I have never tasted before . I would love to know how to make it . I think they use cream and mayo but it's definitely the texture of the vegetables. ( thinly sliced ) The super FT is the way to go - the gravy is close to a KFC , the curry sauce "chip shop" grade and as above the coleslaw is something I have never tasted before . You couldn't find it in any supermarket, even the most expensive versions ( luxury) don't even come close . You are right about the chips - it doesn't really work but could do . I was in friar tucks in the late 1980s for the first time ( video is in the new one , the old one is opposite the town hall ) . The chips were not like that back then . Alot of people got coleslaw on their chips ,which does work . The curry sauce chips was a good version .

Went here earlier this year with the missus the place was packed and the tablet was tiny for the two of us couldn't even fit both are pizzas on it. Ended up chatting to the couples either side because we were actually touching elbows it was so cramped. Pizza was good but the cheese was running off the sauce and the olive oil was still there which means there ovens weren't hot enough. 7.5/10 but if your wording lots of drinks and sides you are going to have to put them on the floor because the they won't fit on the table. If in Glasgow just go to Billings it's cheap and the pizza is much better.
