Thank you. This is onevof the best face painting videos I've encountered. Thank you. I am going to start doing more cloth dolls as self therapy in a bad time. You helped alot. The supplies you used are also simple and accessible. Great video.

Thank you so much for sharing with us how to draw the dolls face. I’ll be heading out to get my pencils and gels tomorrow. I want to get into the dollmaking and have a couple of patterns already to start. Have you got any tips on how to add ball joints.I have the little wooden balls with the whole through and it’s been suggested that you use them as the joints any tips, or if you could show us how would be amazing. Thanks again for your help your videos are very inspirational.

I think watercolour pencils have something in them that could make you quite poorly if you lick them. Great video xxxxxxx

hi, i am making a lot more tiny hand than you are in the video and i tried with everything but can not turn cloth over. is there any other method? thank you
@lesleyevans29622 жыл бұрын
I haven't found any other suitable method yet! I have managed this method with very small hands too. Just make sure the fingertips are narrower and there's are good gap in between.

She looks amazing. I love the process to get the face done. I'm a sculptor and am considering making some of my pieces, in doll form. I was debating whether I should sew the eyes or draw. Just wondering tho, will the "face" come off if you wash the doll or over time?

Hi I loved your tutorial. I've made some cloth dolls myself some years ago.and my best one that I'm most proud of is a button bead jointed doll with a separate head that gives her a nice profile. I painted on the face with a fine brush and used a little soft sculpture to give her a semblance of expression. I would love to have given her hands like those but maybe I'll try that on another doll. I wonder though do you have a tutorial for nice doll feet? They all seem to be a bit clunky like frankensteins monster. Thanks for your video.

This is such a useful video, thank you! Which foot do you use on your machine? I just can't get my stitches to be accurate enough on my machine.

I use an open foot. And don't cut until you've sewn!

Great video. Do you ever predraw the main elements of the face on the fabric before you sew it up?
