Oh hun I am so sorry. I will help all I can. I will certainly have you in my prayers. Funds are a little short this month from helping pay for my daughter chemo and helping get the stuff my Dad needs. But I will help with what I can. ((HUGS))

Oh my goodness that snow looked cold we are hitting in the high 60's and 70's here thank goodness. Oh hun I will keep you in my prayers. Please do your best to keep sugar under control. I use to take care of a little lady that her sugar would go so low she would be like that. First time I ever seen her go unconscious like to have scared me to death. ((HUGS)) Have a blessed day.

Thanks. Yeah, we were hit with a lot of snow this year, compared to other years. I wish I had have recorded the snow storm that dropped over 4ft on us. Our living room window was covered up to the roof. They shut down highways for days because of that storm. I've had sugars so low that I was delirious & just wanted to sit & cry because I didn't know what to do with myself. It can be very scary. I can only imagine how much more scary it is for the ones having to witness it & stay calm enough to help!

Sounds like the vehicle has a sensor that is going bad maybe, I had a 96 neon that had speedometer issues...not good not knowing how fast you are going especially when you have to go into town areas that are more patrolled. Having reliable transportation and funds for gasoline is a must have in getting the proper help with your heath needs. I hope that you get some help from the people that you have reached out to. Government just don't know what it's like to live like regular people that have to live paycheck to paycheck.
@jasonmagee71606 жыл бұрын
We had the same issue on our way to dialysis today. We'll have to take it in to get it checked although I think it has something to do with the sensors as well. We haven't had 4WD since last Winter because of other sensors/issues. Not very fun when you have to drive up a mountain. There are times that we think the engine might blow from working so hard! I'm hoping that reaching out to the politicians in our area will help as well. You are so right, they don't have a clue how hard it is or how important these treatments and appointments are for a dialysis who's active on the transplant list for a double transplant. I'm hoping that I can open some eyes with my complaint.

Hope you and yours had a Happy Valentine's Day. Wow those are very good deals you got those produce items .... Can't hardly buy anything for a buck nowdays. Praying they can get your blood work all straightened out.

Our Valentine's Day went well. I hope you enjoyed yours as well. We love hitting up the discount racks first because we usually find awesome deals and products that have nothing wrong with them. It helps when we know the days that they put the freshest stuff out as well as going first thing in the morning because that's normally when they put the fresh stuff out.

You have such pretty cats. Glad to hear they found nothing wrong with your heart but it is always good to have it checked out to be sure. Glad you were able to get the parts for your dryer. I just went through having to replace my washing machine ... sure is an inconvenience to not to have one especially in the winter time.
@jasonmagee71606 жыл бұрын
Thanks, they know it too ;) I'm glad that all is good with my heart as well. It took 3 trips to the repair shop to exchange the dryer belt but eventually, they gave Holly the right one. I've lived without a washer before and yes it's a real pain especially in the Winter. It's the same with the dryer. If it were Spring/Summer we could hang the clothes out on the line like we usually do but that's not possible when it's -30C.

Wow, that looked like a big tooth to be a baby tooth..lol I like that bike/sled looking thing parked there by the house....what do you call that? I think the snow is so pretty but don't know if I could stand to have as much as you guys get. I live in the US, in Ky. We don't get much in winter, few yrs ago we got approx. 21 inches and put us in state of emergency. People here don't know how to drive in it....LOL I was watching Holly's channel & seen the sugar shack...I think that is so neat. I've heard of them and people making own maple syrup but have never seen it done. Hoping you all get to video that. Take care ...catch u next video.
@jasonmagee71606 жыл бұрын
I know. We were shocked that the tooth was that big! A piece had broken off and rerooted itself behind the adult tooth that was coming in. The dentist said that there was no way it would have come out on it's own. I personally hate snow. We have way more than usual but we still get huge banks and enough for outdoor Winter activities. I can't say that we've ever been in a state of emergency although they have shut down highways and other roads due to the dangerous driving conditions. We used to call that sled a GT when I was younger but it's known as a 3 ski around here. I know that Holly shares videos of trips back to the sugar camp & since her great uncle passed away earlier this year, we'll be helping her Dad with as much as we can. We usually go back to help collect sap so I'm sure she'll make a video showing how they boil down the sap to make syrup. Thanks so much for the comment and for stopping by. I appreciate the support!

That is crazy they are only giving you that.What makes me sick is they will give a heroine addict disability and coverage why??I really don't understand it your trying to keep yourself alive and they help people like that!Or if your not Canadian you would be handed everything under the sun!The family day is a joke not everybody gets it,Bruce don't get it.They need to realize every day is family day not just one day a year!You take care and i hope they can figure out the car i don't want to see you guys going 160 down that mountain lol
@jasonmagee71606 жыл бұрын
CHICKENS BY THE LAKE Thanks 😊 Thankfully the car isn't going that fast or I'd be walking! You're right, every day is Family Day. Who needs a dedicated day for it? I feel the same way about many people receiving help. Many people around here take advantage of the system & can afford a vehicle when I can barely put more than a ¼ tank of gas in my MIL's vehicle, not ours, THE MOTHER IN-LAWS! They even know that it's NOT our vehicle & that I'm active on the transplant list. They just don't seem to care which is why I've taken my issue to the highest government that I can in our area. If that doesn't work, I'll be going to the PM of Canada! Hopefully, it'll get me somewhere.

I know what u mean about the parking. I am disabled and have limited mobility and it is so hard to get the handicap parking because everyone seems to take them, handicap or not. I'm from Kentucky in the US....we don't have snow like that here. If we did our state would stay in a state of emergency .... the drivers around here don't know how to drive, if you get a couple inches of snow they end up in the ditch. LOL The snow is beautiful but sure is cold.
@jasonmagee71607 жыл бұрын
Does it get cold without snow? Around here, it's freezing without snow. It's just as cold with the snow but it does give some insulation. The drivers around here are the same. A lot of them don't bother putting on Winter tires so their sliding and spinning all over the place. Dangerous for other drivers!

Thanks for subscribing & for the kind words, Cheryl :) That is a perma/cath. It was discomforting at first but after 3 yrs of having the same one (knock on wood) I've gotten used to it although feeling my pulse through it still bothers me, lol.
