The coach said in the video, that he uses only one steeringangle for the 2 corners. For me it makes sens.

Gewicht ist alles, sieht man hier recht schön - da haben sich schon viele verschätzt und wurden zum Schluss von der kleinen, süßen Französin gepudert. 😂

Your statement is unfortunately not very well-founded. I would appreciate a bit more specific criticism. Our instructor, who commented on the video, had undoubtedly completed well over 1000 rounds at that point. But hey, we are always open to constructive criticism

@@schnelleschwaben 2020 M2 Comp, 280 laps at the Ring, about 30 laps at Spa. Old guy, poor braking stuff: lift, coast, brake, turn in. Not professional braking.

Die Alpine kommt, aufgrund ihres Gewichtsvorteils viel schneller aus den engen Kurven raus u beschleunigt besser als der Cayman 😀

Guignol dans la gt4 qui fait exprès de pas doubler l alpine j y crois pas un seul instant que l alpine distance la gt4 en accélération surtout que y a jamais les 300 CV dans les Alpine mais plutôt 270cv

La croyance n'a rien avoir là-dedans, les sciences oui (ration poids / puissance). Essayez une course entre un homme aux cuisses hyper musclées sur un vélo en acier, et un homme aux cuisses un peu moins musclées sur un vélo en aluminium, et vous verrez. Vous n'êtes pas quelqu'un de rationnel.

looks like the GT4 is on road tyres while the Alpine is on semi-slicks. Which obviously makes a huge difference in every corner. Clearly the Porsche has better acceleration, but the Renault puts the power down earlier, and carries more speed through corners. On same tyres the GT4 should be at least 20s faster.

Wears a helmet but doesn´t even buckle up the seatbelt... 😜😆 All jokes aside, really goes to show again how important weight is on the ring! And those like what, 400+kg less compared to the 718 GT4 can´t really be compensated for, no matter the tires or whatever. You could put 500+ hp into the Cayman and still wouldn´t outpace that Alpine. But some damn fine driving by both drivers! 👍

I love Alpine (and Mazda MX5) for lightwight over heavy and power! Just more fun on the track!

Did nobody here catch the fact the Alpine is on semi-slick tyres? That'll make all the difference, easily worth a few seconds around a 1.5 mile track let alone the length of the ring. Plus it's on aftermarket KW suspension. So what a surprise it's better around a track than something with road car tyres, (cup 2's are still firmly road tyres, not even close to semi-slicks).

Der Typ im Porsche kann nicht fahren, dass ist das Problem…. Und es ist ein 981 Cayman, kein 718, welcher in allen Teilen nahezu vollkommen anders und besser ist!
