Open it and reassemble it, I also had a similar issue. I was trying to extend it and screwed it up.

I’ve had issues with this lock. Two handymen/electricians couldn’t install it properly and/or fix it. Now I see why. Thank you for uploading this! Is there a smart lock with similar features you recommend?

Sorry - I just noticed the comments. I made this video to show Yale what was going on. They didn't provide any help so I tried my luck - I disassembled the lock unit itself (not hard at all - like a simple puzzle - just be sure to remember which direction everything goes back together) and found that the interface between the lock hole and the door cutouts weren't perpendicular so the lock had been torqueing against the side of the lock plate and bent the sheet metal that runs along the sides. I used a level surface to carefully bend them back to straight, then repositioned the lock plate in the doorframe so the lock wasn't pushing against it as it locked aaaaaaand FIXED! :) Hope this helps.

how was the poon fishing in tampa this year?
@petey8005 жыл бұрын
Always a challenge but certainly rewarding. This was our first time seeking Tarpon on a fly in Tampa. The first day we saw nothing that night we had four Giants on the line but lost each of them and landed a small male. The next day we had shots at multiple schools of Tarpon but just couldn't get one to eat.

Hey dude I know this is an older video but I just made a mile shot attempt about a half mile from where you are. Definitely impressive with factory ammo. I was unfortunately not successful in my attempt with my hand loads however the SDs on my ammo are not as good as they should be. If you ever see my grey tacoma in that location stop by and introduce yourself. Great video

Hey Bro - I just noticed some of the replies here. I actually think I've seen you out there before. Three of us were shooting out there last week and I think I remember seeing a grey Tacoma shooting a RPR suppressed at closer distances. We shot to 1500 with 6.5 Creedmoor AR10s (Proof Research, 2A Xanthos builds), then at 800, 500, and 300 using Primary Arms 1-8 ACSS and red dots on 12" 6.5 Grendel builds.

how good is the eye box on your AMG? How touchy is it?
@petey8006 жыл бұрын
Touchier than the Razor Gen II for sure, but it weight almost a full pound less. It isn't bad if your cheek weld is adjusted correctly but it is a bit fickle at full magnification.

I own the exact same rifle and I to have a 1 mile goal. Do you have the 20 mil rail or no? I have the 20 mil rail and 44 in my scope mounts ( SPURH.) I just put a new NightForce ATAC R 5x25x56 F1 scope on it with the Horus H59 reticle and 2800+ fps handloads. I am REALLY interested in the 20 mil rail question because I was told by a Long Range shooter lately that I didn't have enough mils to reach a mile! Heck I thought I had it covered without a problem! Man you Have to film the shooting! I was wanting to see the shots! All Desert Tech owners say the same thing, "These rifles almost make any up to 1000yds seem boringly easy!" Good Shooting...
@petey8007 жыл бұрын
Troy Showtime ARC Mount with 30 moa cant. Vortex AMG has 21 Mils of usable elevation. Youre setup will be fine - especially with the hours reticle. No 1000 yard shot is easy - especially in the wind, and especially if your goal is first round hits.

Amazing shot. Were you using the standard length desert tech srs barrel ( 26 inch)? I'm thinking of getting one but with shorter barrel, perhaps 23 inch. Wondering if that would cause enough velocity reduction to preclude a mile shot
@petey8007 жыл бұрын
ChrisP I'm using the standard 6.5 conversion from Desert Tech which is 26 inches. With fairly hot handloads I can barely make it to the target supersonic. The shots fired in this video were using factory Hornady 147 ELD Match ammo which was subsonic by the time it hit the target. In short, I would guess you'll lose about 60 fps with the 23" barrel but with the right bullet you should be able to make it to a mile regardless of going subsonic.

@petey8007 жыл бұрын
Great point - I hadn't thought of that. On a separate note, we stretched to a mile yesterday with a newer ELR shooter and my new hand loads. Quite unbelievably, 3 2-shot groups shot at different times resulted in hits with a spread of between .6-3.2" each at one mile (zero wind). We will be filming the target and the shooter next time as that type of accuracy, if even remotely repeatable, is the stuff magic is made of. :)

I guess theres probably no way around it, just something I have to deal with, doesnt seem to be as big of issue with the impulse kits judging by design with the air filter being where the fuel tank cap was. ive actually thought about going with a turboed 2stroke, but I just dont think im ready to give up the power of the turboed apex, I always find it funny all the people that talk trash on the turboed 4stroke and weight thing. in my opinion its all about what a person wants, they both have there area there good in, cant beat a turboed 4stroke for reliability and pure power, and cant beat a 2stroke for the ease of throwing the around in the trees. just my opinion of course.
@justins29947 жыл бұрын
Hey petey800 I had a question on your turbo apex, do you ever have problems with your air filter getting plugged with snow? mine seems to always get packed with snow and eventually freezes.
@petey8007 жыл бұрын
All the time! Was really annoying in bottomless poweder, but the 4-strokes don't seem to care as much when RPM's fall. 2-strokes are much more sensitive in that regard. That said, this axys may be my favorite sled of all time - light, long track, reliable, and responsive at 10 lbs of psi

Been looking at getting a 2009 Apex MTX 163 found one with under 300 miles for 6k then thought about going turbo, only thing is thats its a 608 pound sled dry weight, where as I could get a 2013 163 RMK 800 for around the same price as going turbo but at 435 pound dry weight. Just can't pick between light weight witch is very in-portent or saying fuck it and going for big HP turbo.
