Hi. I have a Leveluk Jr II. machine. Please tell me what kind of characteristics the pump should have. Where can I buy it? And how can I make water 2.5 ph. What solution should I buy. Thank you very much.

I've seen in one video where they use citric acid powder and clr instead of vinegar. CLR is more efficient with removing minerals than vinegar with les or no chance of damaging the machine and pump, they also recommended getting amrine grade pump which does not have to be submerged. Aquarium pumps your putting a pump that has parts that can be corroded in citric acid and vinegar especially so components in aquarium pump could get eaten away. You can get cheap marine pumps for about $70 to $120 with adjustable flow. Also recommended doing flush cycle the normal direction first then reverse the flow because the reverse flow will get into areas of the machine that the regular flow does not get into. This method is supposedly how authorised business that clean the machines do it overseas that is efficient and does not void the warranty and is safe for the machine. Just wanted to pass the info on. Maybe you could check it out verify and come out with an upgraded video. CLR is safe to use in food grade appliances and works very efficiently at removing hard elements without damaging equipment just make sure always to do a complete and thorough rinse after.

Hi I tried this and the water pump was 249 gph yet water name out of the waste pipe the it went over to the dispenser it should be coming out of both but for some reason it's not happening any help would be appreciated

Just tried this with a pump that should be correct. Rated at up to 170GPH which I believe equates to at least 3' rise. I get NOTHING out of the primary outlet tube. Not even one drop. And I'm getting a trickle out of the other outlet tube. I checked the pump and it's working fine. Reconnected the inlet side to the faucet and it works fine. I didn't expect to get a zero result like this.

The use of vinegar with non chemical resistant seals in the aquarium pump is said to create a black tar substance that will ruin the plates. Does anyone know if this is fact or fiction?

Question why do you cut a small hole in the cleaning cartridge not understand this. Could you of not cut a hole and just run it thru without cutting the cleaning cartridge. One last thing did you buy a ORP unit to see if your numbers improved??
@tekmouse Жыл бұрын
Because the hole allowed faster throughput*. Not required but theoretically better because of increased flow.

It would seem logical that you could use your own machine first to make the tub full of strong acidic water and then add your citric acid powder to that water for the deep clean. My own "off brand" water ionizer did not come with a cleaning cartridge so when I replaced my filter I cut the old one exactly in half with a hacksaw and removed all the charcoal and contents, cleaned up the cut edges and added PVC primer and PVC glue and joined the halves perfectly. It works perfectly for this deep cleaning. When this new ($100) filter needs replacing I will reinstall that hollow one and add a high quality, charcoal ($20) pre-filter that I can change more often without 100+ price tag. The one I had cut in half was a simple, charcoal filled filter with no more content than the water filter used in a fridge.
@tekmouse5 жыл бұрын
It's not the pH that cleans and breaks down calcium, if it were then you couldn't swish 2.5pH in your mouth or put it in your eye to kill pink eye. Try putting vinegar or citric acid in your eye , it burns. I use straight vinegar now instead of water, add a dash of citric acid, and it does the trick.

So if .31 gallons is about 4.96 cups of liquid and 300 grams is about 1.26 cups of salt, would 5 cups of water to 1&1/4 cups of water mixed be about right?

Will this be able to be used on SD501? What is the shelf life of this homemade solution and will the salt fall to the bottom over time!? Thanks in advance.
@princeofbabylon43996 жыл бұрын
Yes it will. Salt cant turn back to crystal form after it solved with water. I used my own made almost 2 years. The quality of 2.5 and 11.5might be slidely diffrent but it work for my costumer and my family like original enhancer
@kenm55326 жыл бұрын
Wan Abdillah Thanks. Enagic officially said the kit was only for the super 501because the water entered the unit differently. They said the salt can crystallize and cause damage that is not covered under warranty. They said the bottled enhancer solution has sodium hypochlorite in the solution that keeps the salt suspended over time. Thanks again.
