Curious which controller you are using? I've always used the regular RC but recently tried the FPV smart controller and found it very intuitive. I also like how you can link the goggles to head movements as compared to the Avata 1. Thanks for any reply.

@@jimpugh1553 I find it necessary to use the standard (Controller 3) controller. This is because when I go around corners a fly sideways while turning so I can keep things framed better. This isn’t really possible with the motion controller.

Great video. Did you do a lot of post editing? Having trouble with exposure being either too dark or lighter but grainy. How did you overcome this? Thanks!
@a-framephotoaerial69886 ай бұрын
Thank you! I don’t do a ton of post work other than stabilizing and adding my custom lut. I do usually try to take the yellow cast too with a hue vs saturation adjustment. Otherwise i try to make sure there’s as much light as possible inside and then I also make sure to set a max ISO of 1600 in settings.

@@danieltartaglia7814 for sure! When I first got started with these I kept the Avata with me on my normal photoshoots and when there was a cool house I’d ask if they’d let me fly through it for free. Once I had a few samples I created a page on my website to sell it and then emailed it to existing client base. Sold two right away and since then sold a dozen or so

Do you prefer using motion controller or standard fpv controller for these shots? Great video btw!
@a-framephotoaerial69887 ай бұрын
Thanks! I really don’t like the motion controller. I use the standard one because I find it’s crucial that in order to keep the shots well framed I have to strafe left and right while turning. The motion controller causes you to have to pan left or right while turning and this causes long stretches where there’s no point of interest for the viewer.

How much prep time did you spend on your video shots of the property?
@a-framephotoaerial6988 Жыл бұрын
I usually spend around 10-15 minutes walking through through and planning the best pathway. This would include removing loose items that might blow around from the props, opening doors with doorstops, opening a window/screen etc. then I typically do 3-5 takes. I find I need a few passes before I can fly confidently through every section.
