I GOT HIS ALBUM WHEN I WAS IN LIKE 5TH GRADE.. A GIRL WHO WAS A CARETAKER AT THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM MADE A TAPE FOR ANOTHER KID AND I WAS LIKE WHATS THAT? AND I WANTED ONE TOO... ANYWAY SHE MADE IT FOR ME BUT SOMEHOW EDITED OUT ALL THE SWEAR WORDS SO MY PARENTS WOULDNT BE MAD.. THIS WAS BACK WHEN YOU HAD TO RECORD CASSETTE TAPES I GUES FROM ANOTHER TAPE OR A CD? I MEAN I DONT KNOW SHE WAS MAKING TAPES... AND I GOT A COUPLE OF THEIR CDS FROM THIS GIRL.. I USED TO LISTEN TO THEM ALL THE TIME... I REMEMBER LISTENNG TO THIS IN THE CAR ON THE WAY TO SEE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA AT THE BIG THEATER IN CHICAGO.. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WE WERE GOING TO SEE.. THAT WAS THE COOLEST PLAY IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.. AND ALL OF THOSE SONGS ARE RIGHT HERE WITH ME JUST LIKE CHRISTINE IS WITH THE PHANTOM... BUT THIS 311 ALBUM IS WHAT I LISTENED TO ON CASSETTE ON THE CAR RIDES.. THIS AND THRILLER..

PEOPLE IN THE 90S WERE SO COOL.. THAT GIRL WAS SO COOL.. THIS OTHER GUY WHO WORKED AT THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM WAS THIS BLACK GUY NAMED AARON AND HE WORE BAGGY PANTS AND A REDICULOUSLY LONG BELT THAT HUNG DOWN LIKE TO HIS KNEES.. LATER IN LIFE I WORE MY BELTS LIKE THAT BUT NOT AS LOW AS HE DID.. THAT WAS SOMETHING ELSE AND JUST SO 90S..

idk how or why i was allowed to listen to this when i was 5..it was my dads cassette tape but he let me use it...but tbf i was also watching stuff like steven seagal movies back then and playing games like total annihilation in first grade after school..... i wasn't sheltered and coddled.
