How do you add the font to the machine and then edit the font to change the letters?
@SewCutesy
@SewCutesy 2 күн бұрын
@@lalaallal20 the machine comes with a usb where you will take your fonts and designs from your computer to your machine. You’ll need a software if you want to edit fonts and stuff. I use embrilliance, but there is tons of softwares out there to choose from.

I have just followed this tip and it worked perfectly. My only concern is how to stop the bib piece edges fraying... any advice please?
@SewCutesy
@SewCutesy 7 ай бұрын
Hey there! I lined my bodice so no raw edges are exposed but if you’re not lining your bodice than you could always serge or zig zag around your bib piece before starting your project to keep your edges from fraying 😃 hope this helps!
@GALAXIE262

Most sewing machines have a control where you can adjust how tight or loose of a zigzag you use... If you tighten that up to basically no space in-between stitches (it's what you usually applique something on with on a normal sewing machine), it should prevent any fraying of your fabric.
@SewCutesy
@SewCutesy 10 ай бұрын
Yess, you could tighten your zigzag (stitch length) but I prefer to go around more then once with a 0.9- 1 length if I want it fuller (usually just with knit on knit appliqués since knits like to pucker and get stuck under machine with tighter zigzags and they don’t fray since they are knit). This is what works for my machine but every machine is different ❤

I'm trying to make this but without the shirring on the bodice. Would I just stick with the measurements from the onesie that fits and not have the extra fabric? When you say stretch and zig zag on the leg casings you attached the elastic to the fabric using a zig zag stitch? Thanks!
@SewCutesy
@SewCutesy Жыл бұрын
Yess! I would definitely make sure you are using a stretchy fabric if you are doing it without the shirring. And yes, I stretched and zigzagged the elastic on 😁
@georgiatavira
@georgiatavira 2 ай бұрын
This may sound like a silly question, but, since your little romper was too big after your shirring, you said you sewed two lines down each side to get the correct size. After you sewed the two lines I am assuming you cut off the excess? Correct?
@SewCutesy
@SewCutesy 2 ай бұрын
@georgiatavira aww that’s not a silly question! Yes I sure did. I trimmed and finished the raw edges so they didn’t fray. 😁

Hi, I've been watching your video's for a while. I just love the way you explain things. I'm in a pickle, I'm learning to roller skate but very afraid of falling. At my tender age, healing may take a while 😵, I'm not a spring chicken anymore if you catch my drift. I'm hoping you can show me/us how to create padded shorts, where I could shape and stuff foam in pants. Amazon has padded pants, unfortunately not in my size😥. I'm really anxious to get started, please help............
