How do you know when the oats are ready to cut. I just planted some for the first time and don't have any experience .

Sorry, that's incorrect. Rolled oats are cooked first with steam, them pressed/rolled. Steel-cut oats are not cooked. The "quicker" the oats the more times they have been steamed. Each cooking slightly reduces the nutritive value of the oats. That's why health nuts insist on using either oat groats or steel-cut oats.

I❤it. I wash video from Nigeria, West Africa, for the first time of my life to see how Oats looks like from the stuck to the pod. The whole process was very amazing. I hope to get some seeds for planting.

I’ve been planning to grow a small plot of oats when we buy some land. I’ve heard they’re not too picky about the soil and are pretty drought resistant. How do you prefer to use them? I was hoping to mill and cut for flour and oatmeal.

It looks like these tomatoes are in two-inch blocks, right? Did you start them in the 3/4 micro blocks first and then drop them into the two-inch block, or did you start from scratch at that size?

Please include warnings about mulches from land that has been sprayed with broadleaf killer, etc. You don’t want oat straw or wheat straw or hat from fields that were spray. Nor manure from animals fed hay that was sprayed. Not grass clippings from lawns sprayed with pre-emergents or weed killers. So many farmers lost their entire starting crops due to these in the last few years. Many KZbin accounts testified to the difficulty they had with this problem. Hard to eradicate once you have applied it! Always test first by growing some quick starting bean plants and see how they do in a few weeks before planting all your crop seed.

And when you transplant them you can remove the lower leaves and plant deep enough so that area is covered with soil and roots will grow there as well giving the plant a bigger uptake of nutrients resulting in a bigger healthier plant 👍 , you guys are doing great

total newbie in this area. Here are some questions, how much times does it gets to get the hive producing honey? If I what to have honey lets say for a family all year around how many hives are needed? what are the expenses, and how to maintain them ? what about winter what is needed for them in order to survive? what are the diseases that they get or are more vulnerable to? If a queen moves from the hive is true that it will take all the bees, and you have to go and search for her again? It is a good idea to have bees inside greenhouse? this scenarios is more for the end times, imagine I capture some bees it is possible to create a hive, if yes how to? How many are needed, how to create a queen for them etc?

Can't wait for your to pull out your microscope! That is something I'm very interested in. To improve soil life and boost the wellbeing of the microbes. The garden I am managing was tilled and abused and exposed for eternity with heavy machinery and I'm working hard to cover it, mulch it, protect it and bring it back to life. Some I sprinkled with tiny cute white clover seeds and they are looking happy. Some I mulched with all sorts I could find. Really loved your tips and can't wait for more. Subscribed 🙏 you're awesome 👌 💖
