Inventor of CO2 to Fuel in a cement plant realised that cement kiln is the best reactor to dissociate oxides of H2O & CO2 using multifunctional catalyst like Alumina, Zeolite and NAOH .Here inventor have discovered a very unique location in a cement plant wherein the mentioned catalyst can be applied in a very effective way in dissociating the oxides of H2O & CO2 present in the flame by creating RWGS-Reverse water gas shift reaction at the desired temperature already present in the kiln flame at this location. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJyllIqJYrSjmZY

Thanks for sharing this. The max achievable capacity factors both wind energy and solar energy in India is around 25% and 30% respectively. The average wind speeds in India is lower compared to the average wind speed in US or Europe. Also the seasonal variations are high. 27 GW of (90% capacity factor) can generate the equivalent of 100GW of solar. 20GW of (90% capacity factor) can generate the equivalent of 60GW of wind. India is densely populated. Nuclear power plants have a smaller land footprint. Nuclear energy is location neutral, so saves money on transmission. Nuclear power is not intermittent, do not require flexible backup for load balancing. Simplifies grid by adding the essential inertia to the grid; flywheels or other expensive equipment are not required for the frequency regulation of the grid. The transmission lines and grid upgrades necessary to accommodate renewables will cost more billions.

Climate financing will be Alfa and Omega after the COP21 in Paris. Especially for energy efficiency but could this model also work to secure financing finance for small scale renewables, e.g. for offgrid systems on islands currently relying on dirty diesel generators?

Leveraging of public money will certainly be essential to reach the goal of mobilizing $ 100 billion for climate finance in developing countries by 2020. Here MDBs, such as the Inter-American development Bank, play a key role as pointed out recently by OECD. They estimated that the aggregate volume of public and private climate finance mobilised by developed countries for developing countries reached USD 61.8 billion in 2014, up from USD 52.2 billion in 2013, with an average for the two years of USD 57.0 billion per year in 2013-14. A large share of the rise from 2013 to 2014 was due to a substantial increase in outflows from MDBs .
