Man, I can't wait to hear that single turbo roar. I have a manual 35i that I just picked up last August but have only been able to drive it like 100 miles. Surprised more people aren't buying into the e89. It's basically a BMW Supra and you can get one in mint condition in the $20k's

@erez161 Word man, will do. Yeah I shopped for literally 4 months to find a real manual one. They always list them as "manual" when they are dct in listings. Believe it or not, there were only 2 real manuals for sale in the entire country during last summer, and luckily as hell, one was only 2 hours from me. I actually bought it before they even uploaded pictures of it. Ran to the dealership the day it was listed lol

@@erez161 yeah, it was a small dealership. iirc they had it listed at 24,300 and I got them down to 23,700 in cash. They knew they messed up though. They were miserable and snappy when I went to pick it up a couple days later. When I said thanks on the way out, the sales manager was like "I shouldn't have discounted this car. Clearly you knew what you were buying." 😂 I got so lucky. I'm excited for March too cuz I'm gonna have my own home garage for the first time ever. I don't know much about mechanical work but I am good at tuning. I just gave my brother my VR4 which we built to 500hp and I tuned with a fully programmable ECU. I’m confused. Is MHD a tune or just the program/device that does the mapping? I was told that MHD is the toolset, but not the ‘tuner’ who wrote the map.
@erez1612 ай бұрын
@@idonjohnson6999 You kind of answered your own question. MHD is the program/flasher and the base maps; stage 1 through 2 plus, are the off the shelf basic tunes. Did you order the swaybar links separate or did they come in the kit? Also, are you getting much/any noise from the pillow mounts, trying to decide whether to get the RA or RS. Really helpful series. Also last question, fitment notes say 46mm and best I can find on looking up OEM is that we have 55mm strut diameter (I don’t have adaptive suspension) - seemed no issue for you so I assume 46mm must be the OEM or the knuckle can clamp down to 46 from stock 55.
