The irony in this video is the Funeral Mortuary music they are playing. When that chain breaks loose being used as a “Super Winch” someone will be greeted by St. Peter. Not all chains are meant for lifting and they sure become a lethal projectile . Rope or wire rope is used for a reason.

The video never showed how you attached the chain to the spool. Personally I wouldn't have used a chain because you can use a longer synthetic rope or cable/wire rope to reach out 3 to 4 times farther.
