Nah, the reason he tanked is because he's not used to doing routines for a family audience. Time had nothing to do with it.

He was the golden buzzer contestant on BGT and the Militant Black Guy on Balls of Steel. I think he was funnier here than he was on BGT, but then again he is probably a bit more jaded and desperate now than when he was younger.
