I recently replaced the batteries in my daughter’s scooter and inadvertently wired the batteries backward on the outside terminals. I turned the power on and nothing happens initially, but then there was a loud popping noise of unknown origin. I pulled the batteries back out and looked for any obvious signs of electrical failure, but I didn’t see anything. Now the scooter won’t run. Any ideas on what component I fried?
