sweet video bro. have you been back since this video? iv heard all that punching amazingness has been nuked and gone
@nathanielholleyfishing11 сағат бұрын
No, I haven't been back since. I think flipping the reeds is still productive but a lot of the punching vegetation has died back.

Good stuff! I just subscribed. I’m brand new to Port Charlotte, so I appreciate these videos. Can you advise where a good kayak launch is for the Mayakka River? I have zero local knowledge.
@nathanielholleyfishingАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! I used the little ramp near the Shipwreck Saloon on Kerrigan Cir. There's also a place called Marina Park in North Port off of Chancellor Blvd that has easy access to the river.

@ Thanks for the reply and for the info! I’ve done a ton of off-shore fishing and kayak bass fishing, but I’m excited to try inshore snook fishing.

I know what you mean man about the low 60° Degrees Temperatures being barefooted 👣 & hands man . But you are lucky because I can't wear shoes , socks , or boots because they won't fit on my feet 🦶 because my feet 🦶 are very very extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe . When it's 30° Degrees outside I still have to wear flip flops 🩴which barely & I mean barely fit on my feet 🦶 because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴straps . This is why I hate winter time . A good start is better than I bad start i say . But it's nice to end on a good note . Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video .

Praying 🙏 for your safely man . I had a bad day myself. Trying to take cover from a Tornado while kayaking 🛶 with my whole entire family ( me , wife , 6 boys , daughter in law , Granddaughter , my lil brother , and his son ) & didn't know it because we didn't have cellphone Signal . My In laws was trying to call us , text us & we was not getting it. We got caught in 80mph winds on kayak 🛶 on the water . Take it easy buddy & be safe doing the storm.

Hello buddy how you doing man. That was a good video man. I hope your foot is ok man. I know what that feels like because I have to kayak 🛶 barefooted 👣 because I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. It's very very very very Extremely hard to find close toes footwear for me because of how my toes are Evenly straight across. Those was some nice fish you Court man. It's awesome that you getting up to 500 subscribers man. Congratulations to you man. When you put out good video people will watch it man. I am one of them & you being funny on the video too. Hey Nathaniel, question - propeller vs fins. I see you use a FIN drive on your kayak. Why did you choose fins and not propeller? Can you go backwards using the fins? Is there a speed difference? Do the fins allow you to go in a shallower water? Thanks!
@nathanielholleyfishing5 ай бұрын
A fin drive is always going to be better for grassy and shallow water. I'm also partial to Hobie's (I've owned 5 different Hobie kayaks) and they're only fin drive. The 180 flip-up drive is probably the best kayak drive on the market in my opinion.
