Hello, it was my son's bike which we sold years ago. It was completely standard and could be thrashed to 65mph (indicated) on the flat so around 100km/h. It would sit at 55mpg (90km/h) all day and my son took it all around the UK without issue.
@bencelaczko91235 жыл бұрын

Hello. Yes, got a new (old) bike these days due to the nature of my long motorway commute.... It's a Fazer 1000 and despite doing 30k miles a year on it, no problems at all. One of the most under rated bikes I have ever owned. Fast, reliable, comfortable, good range, pretty good brakes and reasonable handling. Did a fair amount of gravel and sand later in the trip where I missed the Tenere though....

possibly the worst bike honda ever made....cant believe im saying this but theyre unreliable, very wobbly over 35mph, lacking in power and very heavy considering its only a 125...not a good learner bike in my opinion...
@andrewwysocki90986 жыл бұрын
I don't know. It was my son's bike and he did 20k fault free miles on it. I've been stranded by a lot of other Honda's over the years, most significantly an XR400.... When I was 18, my Honda XL100 S used to let me down all the time - it was a load of junk! The XLR was slow, had the softest / nastiest suspension (well for my weight anyway) - but it did the job. It handled and stopped well enough for a 125. No point chucking money at a 125 - best to do your test and move on to 'proper' bikes if you want to ride any distance......

Brett Brooksbank C90's are legendary! Check out Ed March - he's been all over the world on them. Reliable and easy to fix when they do eventually wear-out! Also had a 1988 CG125 as a youngster. That was really slow, had terrible brakes and the worst ever handling! Admired the old push-rod engine though. Underpowered but such a simple design! I have been put-off cam-chain Honda's after having 2 of them fail over the years... Back on Yamaha's now after a long stint with Kawasaki's - no such issues with them (so far)!

X Plane Just watched your videos of the Picos. The MT-10 looks like a whole heap of fun. Will have to go again one day.

SpiroZoren Yup, the MT-10 loved it in the Picos. Yeah, definitely worth a return. Cheers.

X Plane Yes, an amazing area to ride and explore. Been lucky enough to ride through the Picos twice. The N-260 along the Pyrenees is also a great route. 100's of miles of empty, twisty roads and great views.
