Hi, Thank you for the videos. I have a question about using the Stack component in a view. With this component you can switch between tabs of a table. I have a button on the view with this code : Var stack1 = this.ui.get("ClStack1"); stack1.setCurrentPane(1); When i click this button the brwoser gives me this error: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'setCurrentPane') I dont know what to do to get this stack component to work. Can you help me?

@salientprocess 27 күн бұрын
The reason you are seeing this error is because of the way you are grabbing a handle of the Stack control. “this.ui.get” is valid in the behavior section of the coach view, but when referencing controls from their events section as I believe is being done here, one of these two will need to be used: var stack1 = page.ui.get(“ClStack1"); stack1.setCurrentPane(1); or the shorthand: var stack1 = ${ClStack1}; stack1.setCurrentPane(1);

If you Have to code from the control event, you might use the sibling approach, say if these were in a nested view. me.ui.getSibling(“CtStack1”).setCurrentPannel(1); Depending on the version, page.ui.get could be undefined.

@@salientprocess U 29-9-2024 21:25 • Hi thank you for the response, This is how i have set everything up. I have a view with the 2 buttons in a horizontal layout. below this horizontal layout i have a vertizal layout which has a Keystroke Extension CV component. In this last component there is the STack component with the table and the tabs. In the button On Click event i make a call to a javascript function in the Behavior section. So the code i was using to grab the Stack component and navigate between tabs is in the Behavior section.

Good demo, but the screen capture is quite bad, too fuzzy and can barely see what's going on, even on 1080p

@salientprocess
@salientprocess 11 ай бұрын
API documentation is available in the following link. www.ibm.com/docs/en/baw/23.x?topic=apis-process-rest-reference You can use one of the calls to retrieve the list of user task instances, and with the task ID generate the Url to open a task. www.ibm.com/docs/en/baw/23.x?topic=portal-url-addressability-in-process

This is a hidden gem! Elbow adzes made from where a tree branch meets the trunk are another good bonus example, among so many others. When you see it's deep human nature, it makes people who don't "get it" seem extra weird 😅

I have a genuine query, is there any way to make the decision table scalable without making these changes everytime a new tax system is introduced or new discounts are added so that I can avoid the re-deploymet process of the snapshot just for a single service.
@salientprocess
@salientprocess 3 жыл бұрын
I think probably the answer is no. That is the drawback of this approach. If you want to maintain your decisions decoupled from the process, you would want to store them in a rules engine like Operational Decision Manager, or depending on the complexity, store them in a database. Because the Decision Table is a part of IBM BPM/BAW, it needs to follow the normal process of re-deployment.

how do you make a whole row read only when using multi select function of the table?
@salientprocess
@salientprocess 2 жыл бұрын
The Table control does not provide a method to set the entire row as read only. The same pattern demonstrated in the video would need to be applied in the Data control’s Load and Change event for each control in the row: me.getSibling(“controlName”)setEnabled(me.getData())

What is the purpose of Inline User task? Is it something like a Human Task from IBM Websphere Portal where the task was implemented externally and just completed in BPM via WebService / REST service?
