I was looking a video like this. I am trying modes too. My setup was Medium for downshift, soft for upshift. Honda Service personel told me that if I chose soft options, lower rpm shifts would be smoother. If I want to shift smoothly at high rpm and high speed he said I need to chose hard ones. At 9k rpm its not smooth with hard upshift ( at least gear 2 to 3 ). I thought quickshifter tech is coming from sport bikes, and shifting at high rpm s would not be a problem. That is now smooth at high rpm. Now i have to use clutch or need to up shift at early rpms. Is it same for you too ? Btw great video
@DiogoTorres172 ай бұрын
@Gurkant Hey man, thanks for the info, that's super interesting! Personally, I rarely experience any hard shifts, but it does happen occasionally. It might be more frequent at low to medium rpms, but since it's so rare, I can't say for sure. 🤔 If I recall correctly, I set the upshifting to medium and downshifting to soft, which worked really well for me. 👍 At low to medium rpms, it makes a really cool sound when upshifting (check out my recent video!), and at high rpms, it's super smooth in my opinion. 😎 I don't feel the need to use the clutch at all; I barely touch it now. Thanks for taking the time to give your feedback! Best regards

Is the sound very loud? I previously had MT07 and almost every exhaust was short and low with short mufflers which produced very loud noises and it was too loud for me under the helmet with no db killer inside. With db killer the sound wasn't nice. Can't really judge much by the video so I wonder if this Arrow is actually just a bit louder with deeper note than stock exhaust or am I wrong?
@DiogoTorres174 ай бұрын
Hi! In my opinion, this setup is neither loud nor "almost stock." Since this is only a slip-on, it still has the original catalytic converter and headers, while most of the MT-07 exhausts are complete exhaust systems, and many are without catalytic converters. As you described, the note is indeed deeper but with a considerably good volume. For the closest experience, you can try to listen to it with earbuds, while in person it is always a different experience. 😅

@@DiogoTorres17 thanks! Would you say it has more like a deep thundering noise, chopper-bike thumpy noise or high-pitch sporty noise?

Friend, with the quickshifter you don't have to use the clutch at all?
@DiogoTorres174 ай бұрын
Hi! 😄 Quickshifter is meant for use in a performance context. In this way, it's meant to be used while accelerating (upshifting) or not accelerating (downshifting). In both cases, there's no need to use the clutch, which saves time and provides comfort. 👍 Other than that, you do need to use the clutch for everything else (starting, upshifting with no throttle, downshifting with throttle, etc.). Hope this helps! ✌️

Hi man, I love your videos. I have the same bike, and I wanted to ask you something. I love the bike, but to be honest, there is something that is bothering me a lot. The first 5% of the throttle is not smooth; it's very jerky. Do you have the same issue with your bike? I'm currently looking to ECU flash the bike because that seems to solve the problem. Have you had it tuned? Did changing the exhaust improve the bike for you? Thanks.Best regards.
@DiogoTorres177 ай бұрын
Hi man! First of all, thanks a lot for the comment. It feels great to know you like my videos! 👍 Now, regarding the issue about the throttle, yes, I do have the same problem. 🤔 However, I don't know if this solves the problem at all, but sometimes when I see that I'll have to input just a little throttle, like on bad condition roads for example or riding very slowly, I change the driving mode to Rain or low engine power mode. Since the modes from Rain up to Sport also change the response and aggressiveness of the bike, I thought that this could help. 🏍️ Nevertheless, I do feel that, but I don't know if this is the only bike that does that (I drove a Yamaha Mt-07 and Tracer 700 and I think that both have the same behavior). Regarding the exhaust, I was not looking for any other outcome, other than a louder and better sound. By the way, let me ask you if you've ever had any issues blipping the throttle, like when reducing gears, for example? I've had some issues like when I was reducing the throttle, it "shuts down" or cuts out. It's even happened twice now, where the bike would even shut off. I think this could also be related to the throttle being electronic, and there may be some kind of bug. Has this ever happened to you as well? I'm thinking of talking to my dealership about this since this is a 2023 model, and there could be some kind of first-model issues. Anyway, thanks a lot for commenting bud. 👍 Best regards, and I hope that if you decide to flash your ECU it helps! 🤞

@@DiogoTorres17 Thanks for your response, it is very helpful. I do know about the behavior in rain mode. I always ride in user mode with the power at minimum, like in rain mode, which helps a bit with the throttle feeling. I have tried other bikes and nothing seems as bad as my CB750 regarding this issue. I guess all two-cylinder bikes are not very smooth; it's the price to pay for wheelies.😜 Regarding the problem of cuts when blipping the throttle, I never had it. I love to manually blip the throttle when downshifting and never had any issue. My bike is also a 2023 version. I hope your dealership can help you with that. Maybe a software reset for the ride-by-wire system can work. Nice talk! Reach out to me if you need to ask anything in the future.
