Honestly kinda stumbled onto this via KZbin algorithm and I’m genuinely surprised by the quality of sound and editing for what seems to be a very new channel. I’m a fan of the vibes, reminds me A LOT of rooster teeth/achievement hunter vibes. Keep it up! Looking forward to what you guys have planned.

It was actually difficult to buy Charlton Comics in the 1960's. I live in New Jersey and I recall the only time I ever saw Charlton, Gold Key, or Dell comics on the newstands, the only way unless you subscribed by mail, was when I was visiting family in Rhode Island.

The Fox Company actually tried to recreate Superman's success with The Blue Beetle, besides the comic book and the radio show there was also a Blue Beetle newspaper strip, which at the time was potentially a bigger money maker than the comic book, comic books were looked down upon as children's entertainment but everyone read newspapers at the time before TV. Also on July 3, 1940 the New York Worlds Fair held a Superman Day which was one of the first times an actor in a Superman costume was featured, a month later on August 7, 1940 there was a Blue Beetle Day.

I didn't like it all that much either.. Although, I do feel Jaime Reyes and Ted Kord's stories have come around recently.
