Try SLOG3, I liked it way better on my Sony A73, but you need to understand well your exposure first, otherwise will be too noisy

Cine4 is much better with noise I believe on a7iii. Slog 3 sucks for 8bit. The colorgrading steps are almost the same

@ I dont agree, Slog3 on a73 is a lot more usable than cine4 and you get a lot more dynamic range. I personally tried all combinations and from experience, Slog3 if exposed correctly still beats everything.

There’s a setting while your editing in davinci that you need to set in order to get the right colors. I forget where it is. But it should be a quick KZbin search

Great overview! I also have been using Premiere Pro for the last 5 years or so and am now just switching to Resolve so I'm an absolute beginner. I am wondering if you miss anything in Premiere such as the text tools? I haven't yet stopped my subscription to adobe creative cloud since I use lightroom regularly, but I am tempted to ditch Premiere now that I have bought Resolve Studio.

I consider my 24-70 as 24, 28, 35, 50 and 70mm lenses in one piece and use only these focal lengths combining them with "zoom by legs" feature. It helps a lot in getting perspective I want.

Do you have any recommendations to making an action camera look at cinematic as possible? I know they're usually for extreme sports and things of that nature, but I'm trying to get the A24 aesthetic out of it. (DJI OSMO ACTION 5 PRO) So if we're talking just in the filming stage, not colour, grading and stuff - maybe some filters would be useful? And the filter, maybe a black mist filter? Kind of thing
