1. They probably worked really hard to find the original vocals, but they were only able to salvage some of them. 2. They were in their 20s when they first sang this song, so its no big surprise their voices sound different here (I mean 40 years is a long time) 3. They were really happy to have had this song found, and went as far as to remaster the song to the best of their ability because they cared this much. If you don't like the remaster, okay cool, no one's forcing you to like it. But it's no reason to undermine these guys' efforts to respond to a 3ish year search that they were unaware of until that one person found the source.

Im really happy they went throufh the effort to recreate this, but their recreation sounds much worse than some of the fan versions. The guitar is perfect, but the vocals are also not done in the same manner as the original and that violin sound they kept playing sounded really bad. I have a lot of respect for the booth brothers but im very disappointed with the release, and i honestly feel myself preferring some of the fan recreations as much as it upsets me to say

It is horrible to leak this. The creator made a whole album over this song and was excited for the actual release date. You went against his wishes on purpose. It is okay to be excited about the song but you can wait for the band release.

I’m sorry, but this is more offensive to my ears than the moaning (which some remasters have mostly eliminated anyway.) But I’m still very grateful that the Booth brothers put so much work and effort into this and I’m still going to buy the album to support them.
