What current developments?? The most recent development that had to do with the SasuSsku subject, good or bad, was the love letter incident, and that was several chapters ago. The manga is focusing on other things right now. At any rate, it's pointless to debate further. You'll still support NS and I'll still support SS/NH regardless of what arguments we make to one another.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't expect him to suddenly just fall head over heels for her and beg for her forgiveness over night or anything like what you see in a fanfic, but I do think that he'll at least finally acknowledge her feelings and work from there little by little.

Well here's one reason: Remember how bitterly Sasuke used to hate Itachi and was obsessed with trying to eliminate him to avenge his clan only to find out afterwards from Toby that Itachi was not the person that Sasuke was led to believe? After this event Sasuke went a complete 180 on how he felt about him. Even though he is indeed more irrational now than before, I predict that some sort of similar event will happen that will convince him to turn good again and stop seeking to destroy Konoha.

Pardon me for butting in to this debate, but the way I've always seen it is that I believe that Sasuke still has those bonds with everyone in Konoha but has allowed himself to be blinded with hate and has sought revenge most of his life. But if what I hope happens at the end of the series and he finally realizes that he has true friends there, especially in Naruto and Sakura, he'll start warming up to her more, especially because she's the only one that has held out for him the whole series.

yes, i know about her conflict... yes, she wants to repay naruto for his kindness and she does love him in certain ways, but she'll never truly think of him romantically like the way she does with sasuke. I mean, when has she ever directly expressed love for naruto that couldn't be interpreted as friendship, guilt, or deception? (to herself, and tonaruto) its just like that. ~shrugs~ I'm only stating the obvious...
