I don't read books anymore. I think because of my adhd but it is calming and I wanna get back to it. Harry Potter has the same nostalgia for me. In school we were all carrying around our books, went to see the movies together, it was a time

When I saw Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie in the liked books section i was hoping you'd pick that one. So happy you enjoyed Never Seduce a Scot ans What I Did For a Duke. I haven't read Lord of Scoundrels yet. It's one I've put off for years because of the hype.

I got sick from the holiday and I didn't read for like the whole week. It made me so sad. Slowly starting to feel better and I finished some books this weekend so I'm feeling happy. Hope you are feeling better too! 💛💛

The conversation about the mentality around working is so relatable. I have such a frustration with society's push to work constantly. I have worked hard to set up boundaries between work and my life to protect my mental health. I totally get wanting to read but not. I have not read much in the past week and I keep telling myself that its okay to take breaks from time to time.

I dont blame you for DNFing Iron Flame. I was definitely disappointed with that one as a sequel. So happy that the hosting went well. I had a good time with my family for the holiday but now I have a head cold so trying to rest and take it easy this week.

I picked up a shatter me series box set at my local used book store knowing full well I'll probably never read them/enjoy them. Today I picked up the whole hardcover trilogy of a curse so dark and lonely (even after seeing that you gave them a low rating on goodreads) because they were 50 CENTS EACH!!! What was I supposed to do, just walk away from them?!

I read Fourth Wing and Iron Flame last year and while I enjoyed Fourth Wing I was disappointed by Iron Flame. I will read the next one to continue the series and talk to my friends about it though. I loved getting to see your journal flip through ❤❤

eeek, I love all of this lol! I watched Howl's Moving Castle so long ago, I barely remember it, just that I loved it. I picked up the book at B&N a while ago on a whim. Love the journal spreads! I've been using a pre-decorated planner, but take some time at the end of the month to do a little "recap". That's as much as I can handle right now but I enjoy it. I can't wait to see Wicked, I know I'll be bringing tissues with me lol!

Sorry this video was such a flop for you. But hearing your thoughts is always fun for me! I'm a '97 baby 😂 Those first three sounded like a doozy, won't be picking those up. I've read Ransom and actually really enjoyed it but I highly recommend the first in the series, The Secret. Absolutely loved that one! 😍

hey, collecting and reading are two separate hobbies and I stand by that! lmao honestly, it’s my biggest source of comfort & creativity. i’ve been a reader my entire life. but sometimes i do struggle to stick with stories and find myself bouncing from novel to novel with no real purpose

yesss please more, jersey shore is the best! also I'm not from jersey, I'm literally Canadian, but in reference to if ppl acc say "guido" in jersey, I don't think they do. I watched Mila tequilas video series on jersey shore, and she says "guido" is a term that Italians and Italian americas do not/did not like, but jersey shore brought it back basically.

there's certainly writers upholding what has become typical tropes, regardless of their viewpoints, because that's what their audience expects. however, ultimately, the writers personal views on a trope are irrelevant if they disagree and continue to use it anyways.

My week was alright. Trying to establish some routines and healthy habits. A bit of a challenge but taking it one day at a time. Spent the weekend reading halloween novellas and that was a nice break from some bigger books I've been reading 📚
