I think you are mistaken my friend, Bak Mei, Bak Fu Pai, Hong Mo, Lung Ying, Chow Gar, and Bek Hok are all Hakka. thx for watching

@@Tao_of_sifu But, my guy, BFP was held within the Doo Family since the 1700's. All these arts come from so-called 5 Elders' various proprietary versions of their N'goh Mei Shil Lum fists. Those other arts found their way to the Hakka people, but BFP developed Taoist/Internal and was held unchanged within the Doo Family. You know, according my Pai's Official Story...

Heey my friend, Bak Fu Pai is very similar to Bak Mei, even some of the forms have the same names such as Chong Bo Kuen, and Ying Jow Lin Kuen but some of the details and applications are different. Thx for watching.

@@Tao_of_sifu Sort of, but the N'go Mei Shil Lum Fists at the root of both arts are invisible in Bak Fu Pai. The 'force' is felt, not seen. Your gung-fu is good, a professional MA and I'm sure you're an expert in many arts, I just have one. It is just odd the Bak Fu pai doesn't seem any different from any other Cheun lai Chuen Bak Mei and i wondered why that would be.

@@fubokuen Thanks a lot. I still have a lot to improve. From what I have seen, these arts are very similar. Even in Wing Chun, there are many techniques similar to those in Bak Mei, Bak Fu, Bak Hok, and Lung Ying. They have the same names and applications but come from different lineage perspectives.

@@Tao_of_sifu Yes, sir, the hand movements of many Southern Shil Lum descended arts are similar... Then these arts trimmed and refined even more as Master's Arts. You have a good foundation to build upon. The differences are in often hidden techniques of esoteric power generation. Again, can be many similarities, but it seems generally like Bak Mei advances straight, Lung Ying- steps diagonal, Hok Kuen shakes and vibrates, Wing chun pivots/deflects, Hakka Tong Long advances extended bridges and Bak Fu is curved, like time and space. It immediately steals the adversary's horse and guides them to the West Gate of Heaven and into the embrace of the White Tiger of Ultimate YIN. It is not the same at all... technically. lol I'm sorry, obviously, I don't know, or care much for these other systems, besides a curiosity. But it seems to me the similarities are rather shallow. If sensing a weaker opponent, Bak Mei will just blast you down, but the Siberian white tiger is an ambush predator - you will not see it. Peace ! - all gung fu is good, but not all gung-fu is Bak Fu Pai.
